Edgy comedy needs to punch both directions in the joke. Otherwise it just looks like stumping. Refine this joke a bit- Treat both the premise of prolifers and the premise of why people call those helplines as the joke. Show the similarities, and turn it into intelligent comedy that makes the listener amused, but also have take-away. Keep the first half- and finish like this: “Have them staff the helplines, so that when the Girl calls, they have to give out the info for the abortion clinic.” Or with a little extra setup: “Have them run the helplines. They want to preserve life so badly, instead of focusing on abortion, they can run damage control for their own self-aborting teens.” These kinds of jokes usually land well as a segway and not their own segment. Just saying.
Solid premise but the suicide support hotline needs some more structure or it just abruptly ends trying to stand on its own. Like after your initial delivery, provide an opposing perspective. “Let the anti-lifers handle bugging the fuck out of people who wanna kill kids; CPS needs more employees”. Idk but good shot keep going
There are no "Anti-lifers". Calling them that is dishonest for the reason of making them appear as they hate life. Like what the f is wrong with people calling them that?!
Ignore the comments man, it’s a great joke premise, it might need some refinement, but I laughed. Good luck in your comedy my friend
some people cant take a joke
Theres a reason only like 3 ppl laughed.
They work at suicide support hotlines?

Valid point
he's used to telling this joke at a college with a sea of pink and blue hair.
Simple entertainment for simple minded people.
Honestly, I'm pro-life, and this premise is great. People can't take a joke. Also I think protesting outside of clinics os a waste of time.
Who do you think staffs them already?
This really isnt funny, homie got a whole 2 people laughing, im pro choice, but still
edgy ≠ funny

I can tell who the pro lifers are in the comments.
Says the herb who thinks it's ok to murder babies in the womb
Pro Life for conservatives is generally only about saving the babies life. Pro choice encompasses so many things, that you wishing be 😊
I don't like comedians who base their joke on a lie.
I mean he's not wrong.
Why isn't Matt staffing the hotline? I love how these losers think they are the "good" person, but never lift a finger to help the less fortunate.
2 things can be true at once.
1- you can do what you want
2- you still murdered a baby.
"Murdered a baby". A clump of cells.
