  • Many people in the Western world are unfamiliar with Moringa, whether it’s the pod of the moringa tree or the leaves. And if people are familiar with using it they might not be aware of its unique capabilities: how it can reach into the bone marrow to retrieve all the chemicals and toxins which could otherwise cause cancer and autoimmune diseases, how it can lower cholesterol and blood sugar, fight athlete’s foot, and prevent scores of diseases, and, how it is loaded with amazing amounts of vitamins, minerals and amino acids, more than any other food on the planet.
    And just as importantly moringa has the ability to both nourish and detox at the same time, which is also unlike most foods that we know of. Sometimes we need to detox and break down our tissues, sometimes we may want to nourish the body, but it’s extremely unusual to find a food that does both: it nourishes more than most foods we know of and at the same time can go deep into the bone marrow and clean it, and clean the other tissues along the way (tissues such as the blood plasma, blood, muscle, fat, and bone). Literally, no other food can do this!
    Yet, it does come with some precautions for pregnant and nursing mothers - it is way too detoxifying for them as well as their young children under five. Babies and young children should eat somagenic nourishing foods in the early years and shouldn’t be exposed to detox. I mention this here because I have seen many nursing mothers given moringa capsules to take by their midwives, which is a big mistake for their babies.
    Learn how to treat so many health ailments yet at the same time nourish yourself with this delicious drumstick soup recipe given in the video.

      I have the same question. Here is an excerpt from her book:
      "There are now dozens of supplement companies selling dried and powdered moringa online. You can take it in capsule form, make a tea, or stir the dried leaves into your soups, stews, and dahls. If you can locate a good Indian grocery store, you may be able to find the fresh leaves or pods and use them in your cooking."

    wow i have been using moringa and spirulina every morning to clean the bowels via enema. does spirulina have a history of use in ayurvedic medicine? or chlorella?

    • @dr.mteitelbaum
      @dr.mteitelbaum  Год назад +7

      It's probably not the best thing to have an enema every day as you will eventually aggravate apana vata and potentially wipe out the delicate layer of Ojas that lines the intestinal tract, not to mention potentially upsetting the gut microbiome and mucus layer in the gut. There may be some discussions of spirulina and chlorella in Ayurvedic texts, but my teacher's family lineage did not use spirulina since they felt it contained so much prana it could actually disturb the nadis, or the vibrational channels. Be careful when chelating with chlorella or any other chelating agent: you have to both bind the toxins you are puling out and direct them into the bowel movement and flush them out through the kidneys. Otherwise when you pull them out of the deeper tissues they might start circulating around the body if you don't escort them out. Conversely, you need to prepare the body's physical channels for their removal, so it's best to have some knowledge of detoxification before you attempt to use detoxifying agents and do enemas.

    • @smxfit
      @smxfit Год назад

      @@dr.mteitelbaum thank you for the knowledge i will certainly be paying more attention to you and your channel! personally, when i started experiencing kundalini rising a enema every morning was the most helpful practice at the start of the integration process. it has been exceedingly helpful as a part of my yoga practice and i have not experienced any issues. the ojas has certainly been building over time in the body. actually i have found it to be maybe even more important than cleaning the mouth every day though both are a part of my morning hygiene practice :) i certainly appreciate your expertise though and maybe some day in the future they will not be helpful anymore so i will be aware of this!
