Hi, can you (or anyone around here using an Apple Mac for editing) give me some tips for order between icloud, internal storage and external hard drives (Like SanDisk or Samsung)? Got my first Mac soon and don´t know where to put what (e.g. Footage on icloud, internal storage or external hard drive) Need this Information!!
...... I forgot to mention to those Gerald Undone fans, I used A.I. to replace Gerald's Background in Photoshop. Who knew Gerald's studio was Teddy bears and a taxidermy laboratory! Bahahah. I'll post the workflow in my IG.

That expansion of Gerald's set to pan the camera and place the graphics is such a smart move, I'm guessing he grabbed a still from the color graded video, then take it to photoshop, expanded with the new AI feature and then use that as a layout

Telling you man, I’m waiting for them to release something like a mirrorless. I think they will dominate.
Mirrorless is to boring for DJI. Besides, they own majority stake in Hasselblad and they have mirrorless medium format cameras. The X2D 100C is an overall great landscape, product, and portrait camera.
If only we could stick the Inspire 3's camera on a handheld gimbal like we could with the old Zenmuse X5R and the DJI Osmo

I was thinking about disassembling mine to be a make shift Osmo. But then I was like, that's so stupid. In 2 months Sony will release another sensor that tops it, and all the $2200 mirrorless cameras will be 15 stops.

I'm also curious if the 8k version is improved over Ronin 4Ds 20+ms in fullframe and 13+ms in crop mode
On the Mini 3 Pro, anything above -2 NR leaves mushy chroma blocks.
At sharpening -2/noise reduction -2 the image looks great.
Helpful video. I just wish you would have tested the outgoing X7 to set a baseline of how much better the X9-8K Air really is.

Great review! Thank you for sharing all that valuable info. I didn't see a test for ProRes Raw 4K. At 6:20 you implied that shooting ProRes Raw 8K and putting on a 4K timeline in post would yield better dynamic range versus shooting ProRes Raw 4K in camera (down-sampled from the full sensor). I did see where you tested S35 and 4K h.264 60fps. Is your comment a guess that's most likely true based on what you saw in other tests? Assuming the desired result is 4K, I'm trying to determine if it's just as good to shoot 4K CinemaDNG (down-sampled from the full sensor) versus 8K on a 4K timeline in post... and the same with ProRes Raw and ProRes 422.
usually 8K CMOS (full frame)doesn’t have 4K RAW readout mode。RAW means unprocessed Data，usually there isn’t 4 binned 1 readout mode for raw. Nikon Z9 has 4.1K N-RAW, but that one is Skip Sampling, will reduce sharpness. If you want 4K video, you can do over sampling in post-processing

Any thoughts to doing a video on using for transition shots? I know it’s a bit dangerous but like flying into then have someone grab it and use it as an A cam on the ground for something continuous?
Yes. This has been on my mind. Do a waypoints mission, press execute, then mount one of the monitors to the drone itself on top so that you have a monitor when you catch. Then do a one take thru a high end house. This must happen.

I had a 4D. Everyone complains about the rolling shutter with that sensor. How is is on this one?
Rolling shutter is shit. It's typical of the 8k fast sensors. It's fast, not fast enough.
A7siii is still better for rolling shutter.
I have a test, I'll include in next video. But rolling shutter on a drone is only noticeable if you're flying sideways on a long lens filming vertical objects (like buildings or poles etc).
It's unnoticeable in 99.99% of the things I film with a drone, unlike the ground based cameras---
If the rolling shutter is different than the A1 they are doing something different with the sensor.
I wish this video had translation/subtitles for people like me who have no idea what you and Gerald are talking about.

If you're talking drone shots it's possible. It was windy conditions and we were flying anamorphic glass in a few of them, (much heavier lenses than what's intended)
