@JR GAMING The thing is Stan lee signed a ton of comics and sometimes his signature even makes comics less valuable but he shouldn’t go to these guys, they know nothing about comics. He could of gotten a much better deal from professionals at a comic store or something.
I always find it odd when people do that. You can't prove those are the only sketches he's done, like proof of that helps the value. Not made-up story's.
I love this show. I binge on it. Here's some friendly advice: Don't sell your stuff to a pawn shop. They will give you rock bottom. Sell it on EBay or find an auction house. Be smart.
Seller: “I have Jesus’ skull” Corry: “see, Jesus died so many years ago that the skull is probably pretty damaged” Seller: “But this is a part of history” Corry: “ I’ll tell you what, I will give you 19 cents and you will have that old skull out of your hands”
I’m confused, he comes with a pretty cool story about meeting Stan and says “they mean too much to me” then does a complete 180 and goes “I wanted to get rid of them today” like bruh... which one is it?
Pawn shops are the worst place to sell valuable items. Typically, they know a little bit of everything but are not experts in any one area. However, their lack of knowledge works to the sellers advantage in this instance. Both books are reprints, one with a green label to boot and the sketches are a bit of a novelty, making them niche. Personally, I would have taken the money and ran.
Stan was NEVER broke or sitting by himself at a con AND his signature is worth a lot and those sketches are priceless! This is a good example of just not knowing what your talking about.
The one of the left looks like deadpool to me xD This episode reminds me of pa's X-men comics i think ill look for them tonight... i think one of them is about Rogue's failed romance and other is about Gambit...
This is solid proof Corey should never EVER deal with anything from Nerd Culture. Those sketches alone would have been an EASY $500 a piece when Stan was alive. Now that he's gone? Astronomical.

to be fair it is illegal so it will be a huge risk lol
Rick: It is not in good shape, that will definitely effect the value. Plus there are already many floating in the market.
lol his heart broke when they said $500
Ik I feel bad for the guy
that was a good deal
Bruh my heart broke when said $500
LoL
There're legit Stan Lee comic book autographs (ungraded) going for $250 on eBay... 500 was a fair offer back then
“They have so much sentimental value to me”
30 seconds later:
“I wish I would just get rid of ‘em today”
I bet they're worth something now that he's gone ;*(
Kevin Zapata now probably not but In a few years probably
Stan lee wont have a big pricetag if it werent for the comics
They're not authenticated . Anyone can do a Stan Lee signature. Plus, his signature isn't rare.
Exactly
💯
The Guy did the right decision, Bravo!
Rip stanlee, these items are invaluable to the holder, nobody can put a sum total worth tag on it.
Never trust a guy with a wind up handshake
and he just cannot look you in the eyes when winding his handshake...
Lol
Straight up insulting offer.
Proof that Corey should never EVER deal with anything from Nerd Culture.

People feel sorry for degenerate gamblers who want to sell anything to get back to the casino. It's always a sob story.
If they mean so much to you why are you selling them!? 😒
Dan M I don't think Stan Lee signed or drew the to be sold at abpawn shop lol
Because it said so in the script....
Because money means more to him
So he can afford a trip to the next comic Con and maybe get another signature, he says it in the beginning dude
Idk man.... maybe MONEY?!
2:20 hes about to break out in tears poor guy :(
Corey has the biggest wind-up to a handshake I've ever seen (2:46).
I’ll give you 10 bucks, I have to buy a stan lee, find a place to put it, I’m taking a lot of risk here
If they were signed by Mr Brown would be worth $20000

He did keep it
