Well, sir, I own a Carrera 4S 992 I do track it quite often and here in Cali in the canyons the M4 competition does not have a chance in most cases they are in the way that being said my car is tuned and I do have a KW suspension with the front axle lift I’m not trying to bash the M4 guys but there are a lot of turn on the track and in the canyons that I can pretty much take flat out which cannot be done in the M4 also the 911 is a very reliable car. It will take a lot of abuse
I 100 percent agree with you that the 911 is the better car. I’d prefer my 911 c4 over the M4. My point is the m4 is just easy to drive fast but boring compared to the 911.
@@watsonanthony8438most don’t get a 911 for those things. Most buy them as a weekend fun car. A 2nd or 3rd car in the garage. If grocery getting and people hauling was so important to you…get a minivan.
Lmk if you're in NJ I can show you some backroads. Brake before the turn, and partial throttle feeling it out until full throttle when you get through the turn. Learning myself coming from a GT-R/F80.
This is why I laugh when people buy parts from these websites acting like it's name brand. There's only China and BMW. If it's not from BMW, it's most likely from China.
I highly recommend a HPDE class. Warm up the tires. Porsche has weight in the back, so brake to transfer weight to front, slowly ease off the brake and take the corner - accelerate out at the apex. Warming up tires requires braking. The heat generated from braking makes the rubber sticky.
Take it to a track. Sign up for a HPDE (High Performance Drivers Education) class. Letting up off the gas causes a weight transfer off of the rear. It’s good mechanism to throttle steer - but it causes the rear end to lose traction and slide out in a controlled fashion.
Still learning the Porsche give it some time SlowSpeed and you'll master just like you mastered driving your M4! You better than me DIY'ing stuff on your 911 and M4. Probably lift off understeer.. When you're on the gas you are shifting the weight to the rear which adds traction to the weight of the engine. When you left off mid turn you lose traction causing understeer
@@Slowspeednot sure. I couldn’t tell what exactly was happening and you weren’t explaining it well I did hear you at the end saying it’s when you take your foot off the gas.
