Thank for you sharing Mr Michael and family about your spiritual path and views on race and religion. I too believe that everyone and anyone can come and pray to whichever God they favors or believes in. May we continue on with religious , racial and ethnic community harmony and be open minded as well as respectful of each others or individuals beliefs.
I'm a hindu from Bali, in Bali we also have substantial number of Chinese. It creates syncretism which is quite interesting to see. When we have religious ritual they often join us, and other way around.
Not quite syncretic because the Chinese family in Bali most of them are strictly budhist and confucian, they were NOT practicing panca Yadnya, they NOT pray to Hyang Widhi which is the synonym of Brahman, NEVER said all religion are the same
@@InayaHaribo I bet you've never heard of pinggan village before, there is history about the chinese since 10 century and intermarried with the locals, and one the chinese married a balinese king, there's even chinese shrine inside Batur temple to commemorate that, in Denpasar chinese people pray in Tanah Kilap which is obviously hindu temple with element of tridarma religion. They made offering with "canang", practicing bhuta yadnya by "ngejot", have literaly "penunggun karang" which is like spirit house in bali, there's a sacred folk dance literally called "baris cina" in sanur with their modified bali-chinese instruments called "gong beri", there is a guan yin shrine in giri putri temple, balinese people still using chinese coins for rituals, and many more. Probably you're the one that too blind to see, or don't understand how religion works in Indonesia, in Bali particularly
Am born as hindu but not practicing. Though am sceptic of the religious views expressed, feel a slight warmth on the racial integration. Unity is Divinity. For once, god seems to be doing something right
If something you believe is really worth it, you’d go all out to find a way to know more about it . Having just said that you guys clearly didn’t think it was worth it enough to actually find out more about it and wanted a quick answer. It’s stated in the credits, Yu feng nam fu Xuan Shan temple. You’re welcome 🙏
@@Sensational_one Hi, yes I am aware of the name of the temple being Yu Feng Nam Fu Xuan, as stated in the credits. My query was asking for the ADDRESS, not the name of the temple. Because when I googled the name the first time, most of the google results were in Chinese. I do not speak nor understand mandarin, hence decided to ask in the comment section. Your reply insists that I did not think I didn't find it was worth enough to find out more about the temple, which is ironic because my question of asking its address already implies that I am keen to know more about this temple and hence wanting to know the address. I am not Chinese, therefore, I require more details about a Chinese temple explained in English.
I don’t mind praying to any god of different races, all gods need respect… it is the people around this religions which we should be more aware and careful …. Many hypocrites and nonsenses characters followers around all religions

7:25 : isnt that Hokkien language? singaporean still use it? 😁 not only this man combine Hindu, taoism, buddhism but also some local chinese and malaysian local beliefs/folk religion, because as far as i know Datuk Gong is a traditional/local beliefs (malaysia or singapore?)
Dialects and the Mother language is slowly dying out in Singapore because many new generation of Singaporeans learn more English than Chinese. Also, Datuk Gong is a Malaysian deity, earth deity similar to China but because this is a foreign land, the earth deity looked different from Chinese ones, so Malaysian earth deity design looked like a Malay man. Today we can find Malaysian Chinese who perform glove puppetry of the gods sometimes include a Malay Datuk Gong in the performance.
Chinese people are all over the world, with all kinds of religious beliefs, so their ideas and concepts are different. Chinese people are the easiest ethnic group to assimilate.
All The “isms” are terms by western world, actually they are all various methods used to realise what is beyond the five senses. Not various paths to “God” . Different concept from the western world

agrees his ending phrase, "one united, all the same"
very very true, all the same, keep our mind clear
this is a good series on religion, helping us understand one another
Such a beautiful story showing unity and brotherhood amongst different races/religions!

" Ekam sat vipra bahudha vadanti" - Rig Veda
Truth is one, the wise call it by various names.
Hinduism's true name is Sanatana Dharma which means "eternal way" which is also what Taoism means.
Uncle thank you for sharing.
Wonderful. There are no limitations to true spirituality.
that should be the way... all religions are the same... and we should not fight each others..
Such faith is rare.. God has blessed you. 🙏🏼

God is foreign word to Indian culture. In this system , everything is divine
From ancient times Hinduism aka Sanatana dharma was present in eastern Asia. Most of the deities in Japan are Hindu deities
god Is one just different names and forms
Puja Sang Hyang Ganesha🙏

The "majority" religion people watch this & speechless.... "I thought my god only powerful leh". Hahahaha
What are you referring to? Care to share? Who is this "people"?
@@AmusingAlchemy I think he meant he meant to refer to the teaching/mindsets of monotheistic religions
So who? Which is this “majority” religion? Want to specify or not?
Do you see people from this “majority” religion here attacking another group of folks? Want to identify who? So vague for what? Say la eh
We don’t need to over identify and single out any groups in particular, they should know themselves
I have "zero" idea about this brand of Hinduism even when I am born to Hindu parents. I think it's time for some research for me.
AHAHA high time if you do not know about your own religion
Just start by reading Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita firstly.
This kind of Hinduism originates from south India (Tamil areas). Maybe your family's from the north?
