This will be a interesting build to follow along, I worked as a class 8 heavy mechanic for quite a few years in the late 1980's through 2001 at a Peterbilt dealership in Auburn Hills Michigan, had 3 back surgeries with hardware, that kinda ended my wrenching career....I always liked the needle nose Pete....God Bless!!!!
In my youth in the 80's , I used to spend my summer vacations riding with my older cousin who hauled belly dumps with a 63 needle nose Pete....Man I miss those days and that truck. A lot of good times both working on it and riding in it! Thanks for saving this old girl!
@@weekendrestoration1498 Cool can wait to see the progress I been waiting on it and I give it's been so long since I last watch the video they came back up like I never watched lol. So yeah I been rewatching
@stephenwest2476 the video's of Bobo pulling out another 8v71 from the Chevy Bruin is the new engine for the needle nose. He's been working on sealing up some oil leaks on that as well getting ready to put back in!
Thought about towing from the front but it had a flat drive tire and another with a big chunk of tread missing. Not sure about the rears but it's all getting swapped out anyway.
@@weekendrestoration1498 it look like it has 11-22 or 24 wheels and tires , I bet it was heavy duty log truck back in the day , I'd love to find one like it .
