Mario Golf: "All Courses" with Kid in

IT HAS BEEN DONE!
I finally got a recording where I managed to play all 108 holes of the game in under one hour!
Note: since this wasn't live, it's not "official". However, I can say that it IS possible to play faster with a custom character than with Metal Mario.
I played better on Yoshi's Island than I thought I would, but Boo Valley and Mario's Star tripped me up as they usually do. It's incredibly hard to hit those Greens, let alone sink the putts for Eagles. But at least being within Approach distance on every Par 4 (and even some Par 5s) helps a lot.
You'll note that I had a 2nd version of the same character that hits a Fade for Yoshi's Island. I noticed that, for the most part, it was easier to navigate the course with an extreme Fade than an extreme Draw. Another note is that I have to take several extra seconds to re-import Kid at the Transmit screen after resetting the console (to skip the Credits after Boo Classic).
This is timed from the instant Toad Highlands is selected as the first Tournament, to hole-out on the 18th hole of Mario's Star.

The shape of his shot is nuts, it's not a draw it's a controlled shank.
You are not wrong! I add fades to reduce the draw, though such a convoluted curve is handy on holes like Toad Highlands 11.
@@MetalYoshiProGamer I remember importing my GBC character too and having the same shot shape, I think the numbers are off between N64 and GBC because it's just outrageous.

The community established different rules for New-Game+ speedruns of this game than I did for Toadstool Tour.

Why has this character such a long driver?
I chose to give him the Distance Club from Mario Golf on Game Boy Color during that playthrough after beating the windy challenge.
Stupid Mario Golf on Wii VC didn't use the GCN link Cable cord to transfer your GBC characters.

@MarquesLove Level 99 character from Mario Golf GBC with most stats in power, plus the Distance driver from one of the NPCs.
Is there any particular reason why Kid is used over other possible characters from GBC?
D. Val He was the simplest character to customize to the stats I wanted for a speedrun. I don't think anyone else would be able to hit as hard and low at Level 99.
Hey quick question but Do you know how to change a gbc character's power shot? How did you get kid to use Wario's?
I think the aesthetic of your shot is random. It seems like the lightning is among the most sought-after (I've had fireball and blue shot before).
