I like his answers he knows what people know and doesn’t try to bullshit around it just constantly keeping up a mystery of what may be next
That, and if he just allowed it to one day be officially in the game, it wouldn't be exciting as new content. I think it's best left as a dead dream of what could've been. Besides, modders are hard at work to restoring the content and we could see it on console one day due to this mod support thing they're taking their sweet time with.
Yeah, Techland is great, but their writers suck dick and somehow they don’t listen to feedback BEFORE THE GAME IS RELEASED

You did it with Dying Light 1. When it first came out it was nothing like what it became. Those of us who see DL2 expect the same. Wink wink

@@goldendodo. You really have no idea what you're Talking about do you? They didn't scrap it because it "didn't fit" they scrapped it because Chris left the project and they didn't want his work in their game, which lead to a soft reboot in 2021
There is a reason for the rebrand from dying light 2 to dying light 2 Stay human, dl2 was avellones vision for the game.
The map they showed in e3 (the map they are talking about in this video) is easily the best map in dying light 2. So why did they cut it? I have no idea. It was supposed to be a mixture of old villedor and the central loop in terms of building size. There was an amusement park there and we’d have access to peacekeepers headquarters (the castle). I’ve got literally no idea why they scrapped that whole map which is miles better than old villedor especially.

@@eriknorman1690 I don’t think that’s a reason for why they scrapped this map. Why would they scrap this map just to make two more because of budget constraints?? In terms of size, old villedor and the central loop combined is bigger than this map.
@@eriknorman1690 I think it was cut due to Chris avellone leaving. He was a huge factor in the quests and overall story. Those bitches falsely accusing him of that crap helped ruin this game.
@@49HEALTH If you look on trailers with Chris Avelone it's elyseum and central loop but after firing him it has became old viledor and central loop only. I think that Avelone was working on elyseum and they had to scrap all his work in there. The dl2 main story is not good bazar quests are boring. New writer had his own ideas so elyseum was just removed.

Dude I hope that the Elysium area will have a form of transportation like the following like what if we had a dirt bike or something that get fuel from the crystals you find?
I’d imagine instead of a car or bike you’d ride a horse considering you see one because usually the streets are full of cars blocking the road

People forget the DL1 was not the gem it is now at the start. It became one. And those of us who watched the journey were very well happy with the final result.
I think a horse would be better, and would be a good opportunity to add other animals too

Good think for them would be getting back the elyseum as a playground/sandbox kind of map where u can find parkour and combat challenges, dark zones, windmills and bandit camps with few side missions. (So they wont have to work on a story or something just simple engaging tasks)
Fun fact if you look at the metro map for more than 5 seconds you can see Elysium on the map
Maybe it's not in their plans right now (which is not a bad thing, this means they can focus on other more important things) but I sure hope it will be in the next major roadmap. The game needs a Following style DLC to renew interest.

If you go to garrison heights boss room at the very top there's a map that shows it
Also if you go to the hunter agent , up north in a GRE container theres a painting you can remove in its another map . Its shows villdor which youre in , then it shows old villdor in the top left corner
Then it shows another city the same size of villedor or a little bigger up in the top right corner & it says " Elysium '
They should make a challenge where you have to clear the castle and as a reward you should get it as a personal safe house

I think similar to how the following was by introducing vehicles, maybe one of the dlcs will introduce the horses as rideable companions or whatnot
But idk how they’d go about it because I feel like the animal would get attacked constantly
I just want the castle to be a playable part of the map 😭
Maybe they can make it kinda like the prison heist in dl1. Fight your way to the end for valuable loot n weapons.
