I just hope that the freaks aren’t just some more powerful version of their original types and actualy are unique i want new types of infected with new abilities and not some mere reskins with some buffs, thats boring and repetitive in the zombie genre something new would be refreshing like the revenant in dl2.

man, the revenant has such a legendary fight that got bad reputation for its unfinished state at launch.

@@aiIeri it's not just him. You also have some other infected around him that add intensity to the fight. Also, if you just run around chasing him then you're doing it the boring way. The fighting ground is set up for you to parkour to where he is at a much faster rate and that helps avoid spitters shooting at you.
For example, if you fight an Elden Ring boss by hitting him then running back and repeating those 2 things until the boss dies, do you blame yourself for choosing a boring fight or do you blame the boss?
Kinda hope they add the night hunter as like a really strong enemy type, like even more than the volatiles
I hope there is like a special event in dying light that they could add. Something called the blood moon that can happen randomly then the night hunter will appear
Kyle crane is the night hunter so not sure how that would work.

@@brocklessman yes that's exactly why it's called the beast. He is the night hunter. Check out the interview with Roger Craig Smith and techland. Kyle crane is "the beast." Aka the night hunter. He's been captured and tested on for years and years now. He even insinuated that you'll get to tap into Kyle cranes night hunter side as well. It's gonna work sorta like how Aidens infected side works but it seems like it will be a gameplay feature you'll be able to play as during night time. Kinda like rage mode in dead island
Yeah but Tymon said in a tweet that “the beast” might not be as simple as it seems this new game used to be a dlc for dying light 2 so maybe Aiden may be the beast if you see in the game description it’ll say something at the end that says “and a mysterious creature that has made the woods its personal hunting grounds”.

Man I really am hoping there’s some actual new infected and enemies and just buffed up zombies in drugs. And for the humans they could add some armored ones or just give them shields, and for variety some of those shields could have holes from which they can fire their guns through.
I hope that too considering 2 of the freaks of nature in dl1 were denolisher re-skins and kne was a spitter re-skin
I hope the humans fight like rais soldiers and I hope they Also can have different weapons like Snipers, Shotguns, SMG’s, and Pistols.

Regards to the beast being "new player friendly," I hope that doesn't detract from the game having more advanced movement, combat, and tech. A big part of dying light was being able to string together a whole host of moves for free form combat and exploration. I just hope it doesn't turn into "jumps are slightly higher because of his mutation"

Hope that devs will bring up leaked Makeshift Guns. I really want to be a "Sniper" in my little team, but on Nightmare mode, the only powerful gun is a Shotgun(which is not entirely for Snipers), while Bows/Crossbows either have horrible damage or i have to equip some Huntress's weapons which require specific ammo type, like Ballista arrows.
Techland really need to overhaul that Classes armor builds, they're too weak or too specific that you can't find a good 9lvl piece for weeks.
I got a crazy theory for the beast What if when crane got captured and experimented on they used zeres research from the first game to make it a murder weapon and they used cranes beast like powers and were hunting the beast(Aiden)so the gre guy (or someone else)from the trailer from dl tb could use those both beasts powers so he gets the power of the beasts and with the help of zeres research can control his beast powers or use cranes and zeres work to hunt Aiden the beast down and get his monster powers? 🤨 (idk maybe I just sound crazy😐)

I hope Crane will meet Aiden, like you have to do a mission to take down a powerful zombie but you don't know what or who is it, and you have to fight Aiden while he is in the zombie mode, when you take him down he will talk to Crane

While I’m trying to stay optimistic about the new game, it’s hard not to notice a decline in storytelling quality since Chris Avellone’s departure from Techland. I’m also not a fan of the multiverse and time-traveling concepts they seem to be leaning into. I have a feeling they’re going to try to tie everything together with this kind of storytelling, and honestly, that’s just not for me. I hope they can deliver, but I’m keeping my expectations low and hoping they can prove me wrong.
Hope the parkour gets tweaked a bit, i hope its not just the same game as dl2

It’s an outfit called the plague doctor, u were able to get it for free a long time ago but now in order to get it u have to but it with dl points, hope that helps.

My theory for the game is that Kyle will help the beast(Aiden) to control his powers due to him seeing rahim in the young man and feeling guilty for his death.

I thought it was intended as a stand alone game. Like nothing from DL2 will carry over. No skills or weapons. Everything in the game will be “new”

I’m definitely looking forward to this game. Hopefully it gets released sometime soon, but not too soon because I don’t want them to mess it up. So definitely looking forward to it whenever they release it. But from the looks of it, I’m looking forward to it. It looks really good.
