i am 28 and i felt that! i have been a fan of kpop since 2008 and when i tell all these new fans this they get shocked. i feel so old. ; ; i can't even get into all these new 4th gen because of the corny lyrics aimed towards children and teens. and it's totally ok to have them around, i ain't complaining, i would still support them even if i don't know them. but i can't stan groups that aren't around my age lol. i am heavy into monsta x and a.c.e, all around the same age as me. 94liner myself. it's not the looks. it's the maturity in their lyrics. it's the way they hold themselves. mature, masculine, grown. i never thought that i would see such a blatant age gap in this industry, even 2nd gen adapted into 3rd gen very smoothly. but 4th gen is a whole level of different when it comes to sound and lyrics. i personally think the industry got too saturated as well and now all these younger groups sound like replicas of 2nd and 3rd gen groups. literal replicas, in terms of looks and voice.

Over the last year ace has become one of my ults, so I’m super excited for this series. I’m glad you guys already liked the members from this and I’m curious to your reaction to the MVs. Because beat is such a tiny company with a limited budget, the difference in production quality in the MVs from debut to last year is pretty big, but apart from that, they’ve really gone from great to greater in terms of performances.

What makes the whole A.C.E/Winner shorts thing even more ironic is that Wow actually trained with Winner, so he would have ended up wearing them even if he debuted in YG back then. A few things you might be interested to know related to A.C.E with other groups you know: -> A.C.E and ONF are indeed very close, both in friendship as well as in the literal sense as they said their companies are only 3 min walk apart. There is a cute segment of A.C.E's Kang On Box where they called ONF to ask them a bunch of TMI questions including who their favourite members in A.C.E were. -> Donghun and Hyojin became besties on Mixnine. They literally made themselves a shipname with Hangyeom from Seven O'Clock: HyoDongYeom (they were also known as the Holy Trinity and were all in the final lineup, along with Byeongkwan and Laun). -> Chan is in a performance from The Unit "All Day" with Onewe's Dongmyeong and pre-X1 Hangyul which I'd recommend seeing in your own time (since it's KBS probs not good for reacting), especially since you were curious about Dongmyeong's dancing. They actually filmed a MV for it because they won the round but the performance is better than the MV. There are also fancam versions of each of the members. Warning you in advance though that Hangyul was barely 18. -> Donghun also has an absolutely iconic vocal performance of TVXQ's Love in the Ice from Mixnine in a team which also included Seoho and E-tion (again, probably can't react to the actual performance but definitely worth watching). Also, in case you happen to know the groups, members from KNK, RBW's other boygroup Vromance and a rookie group D1CE were also in it.
I was actually going to mention The Holy Trinity of Mixnine in the comments until I saw yours hahaha. It's hilarious how the nickname stuck with all the M9 stans and the boys. There was even a joke about the junior Holy Trinity in the show. 🤣

That promotional period was so short that people always overlook it, skip it, or confuse it with Cactus because of the similar genre of music so it'll be such a treat to see you guys react to it. Fun fact, a lot of Choice call Callin' as the queen that didn't get the love she deserves because a lot of Choice joined the fandom because of that song. @@BerryBestReacts They did a lot predebut and after so a good recomend would probably be to check their official youtube channel because I might overwhelm you with everything they did if I listed it out. 😆 My personal favorite though is Donghun's old series, DJ Donghun. It was a series of videos that were like podcasts and his voice always had/has the mysterious effect of putting me to sleep from how warm it sounds. It's good for replacing night time lullabies. I swear, the ammount of times I've sleapt on accident because his voice was so calming. 🤣
I know a couple of their songs and I watched Byeongkwan and Chan's interview with Eric Nam, but I'm overall pretty unfamiliar with A.C.E. so I'm joining y'all on this Adventure! I felt that "they're so age appropriate" in my soul. I have a much easier time getting invested in groups where the members aren't 5+ years older/younger than me. -> A.C.E and ONF are indeed very close, both in friendship as well as in the literal sense as they said their companies are only 3 min walk apart.
There is a cute segment of A.C.E's Kang On Box where they called ONF to ask them a bunch of TMI questions including who their favourite members in A.C.E were.
-> Donghun and Hyojin became besties on Mixnine. They literally made themselves a shipname with Hangyeom from Seven O'Clock: HyoDongYeom (they were also known as the Holy Trinity and were all in the final lineup, along with Byeongkwan and Laun).
-> Chan is in a performance from The Unit "All Day" with Onewe's Dongmyeong and pre-X1 Hangyul which I'd recommend seeing in your own time (since it's KBS probs not good for reacting), especially since you were curious about Dongmyeong's dancing. They actually filmed a MV for it because they won the round but the performance is better than the MV. There are also fancam versions of each of the members. Warning you in advance though that Hangyul was barely 18.
-> Donghun also has an absolutely iconic vocal performance of TVXQ's Love in the Ice from Mixnine in a team which also included Seoho and E-tion (again, probably can't react to the actual performance but definitely worth watching). Also, in case you happen to know the groups, members from KNK, RBW's other boygroup Vromance and a rookie group D1CE were also in it.
I was actually going to mention The Holy Trinity of Mixnine in the comments until I saw yours hahaha. It's hilarious how the nickname stuck with all the M9 stans and the boys. There was even a joke about the junior Holy Trinity in the show. 🤣

@@BerryBestReacts Ah, thank goodness you'll listen to them in order. 😭 A possible Callin' (their second single and was released as the C in A.C.E's acronym series of albums) reaction video would be such a rare pokemon moment. That promotional period was so short that people always overlook it, skip it, or confuse it with Cactus because of the similar genre of music so it'll be such a treat to see you guys react to it. Fun fact, a lot of Choice call Callin' as the queen that didn't get the love she deserves because a lot of Choice joined the fandom because of that song. Ahh, I'm already looking forward even more now to this series!!!

It was a series of videos that were like podcasts and his voice always had/has the mysterious effect of putting me to sleep from how warm it sounds. It's good for replacing night time lullabies. I swear, the ammount of times I've sleapt on accident because his voice was so calming. 🤣

I know a couple of their songs and I watched Byeongkwan and Chan's interview with Eric Nam, but I'm overall pretty unfamiliar with A.C.E. so I'm joining y'all on this Adventure! I felt that "they're so age appropriate" in my soul. I have a much easier time getting invested in groups where the members aren't 5+ years older/younger than me. These guys seem absolutely delightful, and I already like the music I've heard from them so I'm excited to learn more about them with y'all!
