Same, sadly it melted when James got lit on fire playing fade to black later hat year. A pyro went off and the pyrotechnic said they wouldn't go off there so he stood right on top of a flame machine that goes to hundreds of degrees hot. That got more specific then it should have.
This is from early 93, about January or February. His accident was 8th of August 1992 and if you look at Woodstock 94 he has the double neck there too, I think they said he had a couple so he still has one
@@RandomPerson-ui3xv wow, guess you've never heard of the premise of "opinions", huh? I think this is their best performance of Fade. I love Seattle 89 and Moscow 91 too, but I like this one better personally. Operative word being personally

@slavissha I have some more done already, I'll post them all tomorrow. Look forward :) Bass/Guitar solos is the only track from 1st cd that I'm getting problems with audio sync, completely from different night. For some reason songs I already made, seems like all of them were taken from March 1st. Or Metallica played exactly the same every night lol. For sure, I'll release them all on dvd.
Thanks SO MUCH for posting this jamzthrasher! Please don't ever remove this vids or close your account, this is rare Metallica gold. This song has never sounded better. Lars' double-bass at the end is great, sounds like a helicopter thumping overhead lol.
I got used to hear that music version since i knew Fade To Black song! Oh Man!! And for sure its the best! Best Kirks SOLO, Best Hetfield's guitar and vocal Sound, BEST Drum peformance!! And Jason! Everything ! My favorite! i love Metallica!
@@luisbasurto585 there are other performances that 'Tallica have done aside from Seattle' 89. That's a great performance, don't get me wrong, but there are other amazing performances they've done.
Melhor versão da melhor música de sempre 💚💚 Essa música acompanhou me durante quase a minha vida toda .... Ajudou me nos momentos mais sombrios... Sabe sempre bem quando sentimos que não estamos sós 🙏💚
@@adriang2332 it's like a merging of the classic Het voice and the current Het voice. The perfect melding if you ask me. Still metal, but tight, clean and controlled.
YEAH they tuned down to eb in 1995... but he he played fade to black with a normal explorer.. did he play fade to black in eb with the double neck and i didnt notice??
He was using a double necked explorer, the top of the explorer was a 12 string guitar. He used to played the intro with this / 12 string guitar. Nowadays, he is using a mini jumbo (i think) electro-acoustic guitar for the intro.
I hope james will play the fade to black intro again with his 12 string double neck explorer. I miss that guitar :/
same

Kirk is fantastic!!
Hands down the best live version of fade to black I don't care what anyone says
Until Metallica: Fade to Black (Belo Horizonte, Brazil)
This is the best drum sound Lars has ever had.
Totally agree! My first thought too 🤩
01:36 The best vocal intro for fade to black, very deep!
1:47 voice problem
3:09 the way he says "I cannot stand this hell I feel" sounds so good.
Best version of this song hands down
100% agree. Kirk's solo from this show was off the hook, just perfect.
The best Jaymz vocals of Fade To Black.
This is the best version of Metallica period.

In my opinion this is the best they've ever performed Fade To Black. Bar none.
Not even up for discussion. Yes this is the best version they've ever done. I don't even listen to the album version anymore.

When Jason looks like he’s taking a shit you know he’s playing his heart and soul . Which was every live show
Φοβερό κομμάτι...
5:10 (James in his head) Oh that didn't come out right.
My friend: This is perfect!

Kirk is so good here but Lars tho.. so powerful..
When 1 Explorer isnt metal enough🤘
too bad we didnt hear the 12 string in the later years and eb tuning
1994 still in the same tuning but in 1995 it was a major downtune
YEAH they tuned down to eb in 1995... but he he played fade to black with a normal explorer.. did he play fade to black in eb with the double neck and i didnt notice??
The Snake Pit.................holy f*ckng sht!!!!!
i would do anything to get the tone Kirk has for the solo
+MB215 they didnt use rectifiers, they used mark iic+

Why is the intro riff that James is playing an octave higher? I've never heard that before. And how did he make it sound like that?
