Rust Valley Restorers is a Canadian reality TV show hosted by Mike Hall. The show revolves around the daily activities of Mike and his team collecting and restoring classic cars into collectible vehicles. Mike has a penchant for not letting things go; he puts his heart and soul into every restoration project and almost never backs out. Most times, those projects do not sell as high as he hopes, and he loses a great deal of money on them.
Mike’s business knowledge has been questioned since he always loses money on his projects. A few months ago, Mike was in the news for wanting to sell his Field of Dreams - a collection of about 500 vintage cars; cars he has owned for three to four decades. What could be the reason behind his action? Let’s find out what really happened to Mike Hall.

The genuine character in this show was absolutely incredible. I relate to Mike so much in my own situation. He seemed to treat his clients better than he treated himself. That is a great recipe for popularity but for it to be sustainable you have to work twice as hard as anyone else and settle for lesser profits. Once most customers know you're a good guy they will take advantage. I wish Mike the best and hope he'll do a cameo on another show at some point.
Bring this show BACK !!!!
I've always wanted to go look at Mike's collection. I'm a sucker for classics and have even started my own collection of previously neglected classics, such as my '77 Porsche 924. He seems like a genuinely good person that has an undeniable love for these cars, hence him selling and not making much of a profit. I really want to be like him one day.
Rock On Mike! I’m 60 and have dealt with the same addition!
Loved his show. Being a Wpg boy too. It was easy back in the day to buy n flip chargers road runners etc. Wish I had the $ to buy one off him.
Nice video 📹 and workmanship 📹 busy it sounds like 👍!!!! Network speed !!!
Season 5 starting soon
Love show, a over the top real love for rust is what we really lust, keep it Up gents and sons.
He closed his shop
I loved this show, Mike seems like a really good dude. Hope he and the fam live a long happy life
Loved the show and hope that it will be back
Great show❤❤!!
This show was filmed right behind the White Post Auto Museum in Tappen
Love the show by the way
I've watched highway through hell and saw him in it. I don't know how my brain didn't connect that it was the same guy from rust valley until now.....
Miss you and your entourage. Was that you and your posse on the shoulder of the#1 March 2nd? On that icey rd it would have taken me a km. To get stopped. P good luck to you….
Man I loved his series was hoping for s3
I watched every episodes even my wife loved the show when the episodes ran out my wife was pretty upset
I wouldn't mind an Avery spinoff
He needed to get rid of a bunch of those. Letting cars rust in a field year after year was just devaluing them.
He's doing the same thing as he was doing before you made this video
didn't they pay him to host the show? where did that money go ?
Avery made the show
I can tell you, it wasn’t a good show. Sorry
Selling bondo wagons ,,
What really just happened to my beer?
This show is horrible
I bought a truck from Mike while they were filming the first season. I got to meet most of the guys and I have to say they were very all very nice and helped me even though I came totally unprepared with a trailer that was not big enough.
You were almost left dancing on your own..
Anyone else think that this was the 2nd best Canadian show after the legendary ‘The Red Green Show’???
Beachcombers would be in there too
Friendly Giant
@@hogback100 look up…. Look waaay up
what about trailer park boys?
@@grimgunner781e8 I could never really get into it. I know a lot of people love it, but to me, it always just felt ‘forced’…
I really like this show. I wish there were more seasons.
One of the best "backyard " car show on MOTOR TREND TV.
So he's a rich guy that didn't let the money get to his head. I Have much respect for a person like this.
⬆️ 😆👍
I think that Mike Hall is one of the more relatable "TV" car guys I've seen in years. Probably because I've known quite a few similar types of people. And a lot of them, like Mike, are similarly hoarders with not the best business sense most times but are almost always both extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. I hope I get to cross paths with him one of these days.
Got the yellow nova in my driveway. It's wicked and I love the show
I disliked Mike at first (as you do) but after a time he grows on you; his drive, humor and passion are hard to ignore.
Ron Jeremy was so good on this show
Love your commitment Mike! Gives me hope. I have a TR250 with Surrey top that has been in the garage I had built for it, for 30 odd years! Too bad you don’t do English car restorations! Keep on keeping on!
Dat orange 68 or 69 Plymouth would of been cool to see redone
Loved your show and Avery. Hi from the Andersons of Anderson Farms.
I actually work for mike and Connor they are both really amazing people and it’s great getting to work alongside them
They really turn it down tho for the show lol they are crazy
Ain’t no way
Tell them to continue! I love their show. Reminds me of the stuff my dad and I get up to.
I wish I could talk with you lot about my unicorn dream car a 1930’s hot rod coupe build to honour my dad
I work in a car shop and I got that vibe after watching just a few episodes
it's so weird seeing Avery on TV. he was always hanging at my mom and dad's place with my sister and her friends.
What really sucked is how his friend opened a business, and I was ready for that season and it never came. Such an asshole move. They could have done like 4 to 6 episodes more. I wanted to see how it was going to work out 😡
not sure what you mean.. that was season 3... Season 5 starting soon
motortrend has rest
Sucks I been waiting for another season. Was finally something good to watch!!!!!
Really enjoyed their show. Sorry to hear it's not likely to continue.
Season 5 has been confirmed already.
Mike seems like a great guy. Too bad he's getting up there in age. Had to be hard to get rid of his collection.
So much more entertaining than most other car resto shows.
When Rust Valley came out with a Jamocan Canadian restoring things, I BINGED the season in a day! This show is like heroin and I need a fix again!
The way the narrator pronounced St. Boniface is cringe inducing...
i hope what ever he does makes him happy it sucks he had to let it all go but he was real about it and was thinking of his family good job mike hall
Rust Bros!!!!!....I love Mike but Avery also needs some love in the comments. Lol 👍👍
Hilarious lil dude. They have great chemistry, just hope they keep going at it somehow.
so much better than listiening to Richard Rawlings salesman talk
Best show on Netflix hands down😅
👍👍
My autistic son absolutely loves Mike and Avery. Such a great show, and quality time with my little boy!
First Ed leaves wheeler dealers.
Then they cancel Bad Chad.
Now they don’t know if RVR will be back.
Come on guys!!!!!! Your killing us.
WE NEED MORE SEASONS MIKE!!!
That is pretty awesome. My husband also collects old Mopars: mostly Dodge trucks. We have just over 200 vehicles. It was interesting to hear you talk about Mike Hall. It sounds very familiar to me!
Can't wait..... I wanna see more of this show so bad wish they make more
Same
Tell me you know nothing about Canada with saying you know nothing about Canada.
I am a huge fan of this show and have watched every episode multiple times. I've always wanted to work with Mike and the crew. Wouldn't even have to pay me wages, just let me build one of those cars! Lol
This video is outdated and there was 0 effort put into making it. If you really want to know just watch the show or do a quick google search.
Love the show need more episodes
Love rust bros was one of the best car shows going
It was announced in April that Rust Valley Restores will be back for a 5th season. When... they didn't say, but if it's anything like the previous seasons... probably sometime in Jan 2024 on History Channel Canada.
Why is always when there's a decent Canadian show they never give it more than a couple seasons it seems and it shuts off this sucks
there already is a 5th season confirmed if u follow them on social media but no confirmed date, or perhaps it might be canceled who knows
I hope there will be another season. I love this show and had many laughs. He shows us his big heart. Mike, please do more seasons!
Ditto!
Agreed me and my wife enjoyed watching the show.
There is like 5 or 6 seasons but the seasons that aren't on Netflix are actually on another service and that is supposedly where they will stay
@@galaxy_caveman in Orbital Digital, they only got 4 seasons 😶
@@galaxy_caveman There are only 4 seasons out... the 5th one will probably be out in Jan 2024 (if we're lucky sooner) on History Channel Canada.
The best show l ever seen from Miami Florida.
Great show, thanks for the info, I guess that was the point...so we still don't know a result..making thus video pointless
I thought that was Weird Al'.
I figured since he had the Hedgehog Ron Jeremy working for him… they’d get more “exposure”….
This is a great show for us that love those old Muscle cars of the 60's and 70's..Mikes love of the Super Bee is a car i am 100% in agreement with..In our little Ohio town back in the mid 70's we had our fair share of Motor-heads and the town monster was owned by a kid we called Bump..A 1970 yellow Super-Bee..Wasn't a car around that could touch it..Each town around our little town had their own motor-heads which we would go head to head with..One town over had what they called the Pickle..A bright green 69 SS Camero..That car was the nearest car around in our area that was the one to beat..In the end of the rivalry that Camero couldn't touch that Super Bee..Those Mopar's had an edge back then..Bad-ass cars...My Favorite is the Road Runner's of those days
These reality shows can be a frustrating watch as the money comes from the show itself so all the economies of flipping the cars/bikes/houses etc. is irrelevant
I've never watched this on Netflix, it's just a regular TV show in Canada.
id have fired that Neil character on day one!!! definite attitude problem!!!
We need more seasons I m actually trying tu pump my wife in to taking a trip from San Diego California to. To your guys neck of the woods and have a vacation just to come check your collection out 😊
I currently own his chevy g20 he used as a ambulance with his slope stabilizing business. Went and bought it off his property a few years ago when I lived in salmon arm.
Very clever of you to wait until the last moments to tell me what I needed to hear: no more seasons ahead 😢
One of my favorite shows, period!
I used to watch it every single day!
Man I saw some of the restos come out on their show and I paused it because it was so obvious the gaps were terrible. Really bad hood hinge placement..
That SUCKS! I was looking forward to the next season. Good luck Mike.
more info then in ideo: he has a youtube channel were he shows off cars he bought its not super updated and he's going to car shows to do fan meet and greats
The field of dreams is gone. Everything was sold. Old news.
lloved That show, the strange thing was that you saw real people and Mike seemed like a tremendous human being and if it was overacted ,the did it very well
Love watching your way of building a car old school always thinking outside the box
I loved watching this show! Hope everything works out for him!
Don't care about cars, I only watched because of this cool & funny guy 😊
The Cheech and Chong of car restoral
What happened? He's living his life and minding his own business
Love the show watches, which, as I can, I just subscribe to the RUclips channel
I look up to mike wish I I had his life. I woulda wanted all the cars to get buried with me if I ever died
Dude has been trying to sell that property and cars since long before Covid. I haven't looked at the listings recently, but it was something like 1.6M CAD$, or $1M US for 5 acres and the cars in the fields, and the cabin and buildings. (I don't think that price included the shiny stuff he had already restored.) If I had access to a loan like that, I MIGHT almost move to the Shuswap. I was glad to hear the update on those sales.
cool guy!
The show is on season 5 now... you only mentioned the first 3 seasons....
Can't wait..... for all the vidoes in the future on this channel
Sorry Mike i didn’t have a room for you at Kelly’s 😞
This was a great show!
I wish all the best for Mike and his family!
Love your show and loved watching you build cool ass cars
A melhor série de Carros, emocionante. Gratidão
What happened to the last season that has yet to come to Netflix!!?!?
Who cares? Another conflict show for the minions!
I enjoyed a few but the plot lines were hackneyed.
@@jamesdellaneve9005 It's all scripted outrage. Fast and Loud was amusing in the beginning. It was about cars. Then, like EVERY other reality show, it was conflict between the actors. No thanks!
@@tvdinner325 Seemed like it. I probably watch 6 or 7. Then gave up.
I thought he was playing guitar in Yob lol
There’s only 2 season on Netflix:(
