"Why they're doing tricks over every jump in the middle of a race, I have no idea" - says the man who consistently throws out backflips in Straight Rhythm 😂
When the knife kick to the chest happened... I was thinking he'd be like 'wow, he just murdered someone.' but, he's like "ya, I've done that before, just without the knife."
You'd never guess how crazy and fearless this man is just by looking at him. He doesn't look like someone who would jump out of a plane without a parachute
"I might knock my friend down....and laugh. But if they're on fire, like that's kinda my queue to say yeah we've gone a little to far here." - Travis Pastrana
This man right here for all you that don't know, has the biggest set of balls this side of the Mississippi. Dude is the king of freestyle motocross and the face of the X-games back in the day. He is quite literally the Michael Jordan of action sports hands down.
@Dont SUB to me I have no content Agreed. No one has pushed a sport that they dominated in, and STILL pushes the sport to this day, the way that Travis has. In fact, most other sports don't even encourage that behavior, which is why I love action sports more than any other. Even in competition, there is more comrateri than any other 💯

14:14 Travis Pastrana - "why are they doing tricks over every jump in the middle of a race I have no Idea." James Stewart - "Am I a joke to you?" Also Travis Pastrana during straight rythm- "Ima do a backflip."
What I liked about that Mad Max scene, is exactly what Travis brings up. It feels like they know that terrain, that is *their* stomping grounds and they have the advantage there. They probably have done those jumps a hundred times before, probably altered some of the terrain and made jumps and landings... etc. It felt like they drove the War-Rig into a hornet's nest and might not actually make it back out. I love that scene!
Would never have thought, in a hundred years that Mr. Pastrana would be able to articulate those words together "hey guys, maybe we've gone a little too far here", even in jest. Thanks for being one of the greatest entertainers of our time. It truly was a thrill to watch you progress (which is somewhat maddening because you were already shutting A LOT of guys down, at such a young age, starting with your first appearance in that early FMX video!) into probably the biggest extreme sport icon, to date!👏👏👏👏
When the knife kick to the chest happened... I was thinking he'd be like 'wow, he just murdered someone.' but, he's like "ya, I've done that before, just without the knife."
Definitely one of the best simply cause TP is one of if not THE biggest star motocross pioneering FMX, break records and put motocross into the mainstream. Every Marylander has stories of Travis and rooted for him.
At 9:08 when Travis is talking about guys flying off the track and hitting tractors, reminds me when someone went right at Pastranaland in Nitro Circus 5. (I think it was 5. The that featured Jeremy Rawle as Tenacious J)
@Dstroke could have been an 80 or could have been a 100. but it was an XR without a doubt. cr80 of that time would have been water cooled and plus there is no expansion chamber. besides. i have seen so many of those old XR's i know how they look right away by the frame, plastics and engine. ruclips.net/video/rUd3rgVJusk/видео.html
@Dstroke i hear you. the incorrect sound bothers the heck out of me too. also the shifting about 20 times per scene. my cousin and i used to have this game when watching the dukes of hazard where we would count the shifts in all the general lee scenes. that charger had a lot of gears! ha ha!
For Mad Max, they're driving through areas that the biker raiders frequent as an ambush location. I assumed they set up the ramps specifically to enable jumps and passes and advantageous angles on any vehicle passing through. It's clear that they aren't new to the process of taking down a big armored vehicle
Doing tricks in a supercross race would give you a talking to. He would know that that happens. Still remember him doing backflips of the burms of corners back in the day
I hate that that's a nickname for him, because I share a first name and high school was a thing, so it magically becomes my nickname, just because of first names.
It's so trippy how gnarly he is at everything he does.. then he's like clark kent.. treats everyone like they're special and important. Very rare dude for sure! Never see anything like him ever again..
When ever I’m going over a jump I’m obviously focused but I feel free everything is just so peaceful in the middle but when you land it’s back to full focus 😂
When you get air your not expecting it definitely slows down time in your own mind. After I momentarily freaked out I relaxed and landed it fine. I was out on a pipeline with a friend who had a junk quad and my honda 125 had crappy tires so I was on the grass next to the main trail.
Bro wheelies are not very hard, it's balance/throttle control/foot brake. Try jumping 40 foot doubles, 80 foot table tops, step-ups, and some triple doubles.
Before he said "definitely dont wanna try on a Harley for your first time" I was boutta ask 'think I could try a wheelie for my first time on my 1200 Harley sportster ' 😂😂
A friend of mine tried to do that on his big fat Ultra Glide. He did a good steady wheelie but he couldn’t get the front end to come down gently so the front came down hard and blew out the forks. The sound it made was amazing. 😂
Seemed too good to be true. Can’t believe they got the most legendary man on here

I think Travis should be Hollywood's motocross bike stunt and sound consultant.
