    Personally I think playing with 2 arms and 2 broken legs would he easier than putting up with my Missus sometimes and we aint even married.

    Steve Waugh and Javed Miandad of Pakistan were two players who had the guts to fight for their country and go through the pain barrier and still perform brilliantly whilst obviously injured to grind the opposition to the dirt....Miandad performed miraculous innings after miraculous innings during the 92 World cup and was one of the major reasons Pakistan won that 92 World cup in Australia. He was not even close to those 3 as captain.
      He had the best team by a mile when tubby retired. I could have captained that side.
      And lol...id like to see how his top order would have coped with no helmets, uncovered pitches, back foot no balls, no bouncer limits. They were playing england who were a joke. A windies side who had one decent batsman an a couple of good quicks, utterly gutless pakistani teams who cheated, indians who hadnt figured out crying about the mean aussies wasnt gonna win test matches, and south africans WHO THREW MATCHES.
      Bradmans top order would have been laughing with delight if they played in todays softcock conditions.

    • @byza101
      @byza101 10 месяцев назад

      @@sugarnads Bradman’s team couldn’t handle Bodyline, what good would they have been against the West Indies? Benaud never faced the West Indies of the 70’s and 80’s. Unfortunately by the time Waugh assumed the role the West Indies were on the downward spiral, but the bowlers Waugh had at his didposal would have given them a good crack at any team from history.
