Good Morning! I am working on Christmas Journals too! And so glad to know that I am not alone in repurposing packaging! Working with Christmas in July and August kind of gives a semblance of it being cool outside....even tho its still HOT🔥🔥🔥 OUTSIDE! 🤣🤣🤣. Tho now its warm and humid...ugh. Monsoon in NM. First things first… I absolutely LOVE your channel! I’m a teacher and have been off for 2 weeks for Christmas. I’m new to junk journaling, and I have gotten sooo many ideas from your videos. I do have a quick question. I have ordered some Tim Holtz ink to distress some of my ephemera and photos. Sadly, it won’t be in for another week. I’m very impatient! Lol. Is there a way for me to distress right now until my ink comes in?
Hello and Welcome. Happy New Year! Thank you for being here and watching my videos. You can distress with coffee. Instant coffee if you have it. Make a small cup and voila use it to stain your papers. You can also tea dye for a more subtle distress or vintage look. I hope this helps. Have fun!
