2020 BMW G22 430i - Stock Exhaust Sound!

Short soundclip of the new BMW 430i (G22) doing a startup, some revs and an acceleration.

Same Engine like the G20 330i. Still sounds ok.

Sounds a little better than my 17' 430i likely due to the dual exhaust system which the B48 seems to respond better to compared to the 428i (single exit/twin tip). This has a slightly deeper tone, but it's a shame there's no grunts on the upshifts .

Is there a difference between ComfortMode and SportMode?

I don't know, but as there are no pops/crackles in Sport Mode anymore (this was filmed in Sport Mode), and as there are no valves in the exhaust, I guess it will sound the same from the outside. Inside the sound if (partially) fake, so inside it will be louder in Sport Mode.

You're not wrong...it has a B48 like a bunch of other BMWs since 2017, it's not a new engine so idk what you expected it to sound like lol. Put a decent exhaust on it and a tune and it'll sound pretty good.
