Ahh your so pretty!!! also any training tips? I have a service dog in training and sometimes she gets a little nervous in public shes new to public acsess what are some ways you would reccomend calming her a bit? ❤
I would recommend stepping back from PA until she's not nervous anymore, if you put a dog in a situation they can't handle being in you could potentially create a reactivity fear in the dog or even burn them out. Try sticking to places pet friendly and don't push her past her limit but also show her that you're there to advocate for her, you could also try treating her whenever you're out and only if she's calm, that way you create a mindset of 'oh if i'm calm in this situation I get stuff I really like!' Hope this helps!
Your pupper is beautiful! Is a swiss shepherd the same thing as a white german shepherd? That's always confused me and I have never gotten a definitive answer looking online.
they are not the same breed! While the foundation breed to the White Swiss Shepherd (WSS) is the German Shepherd Dog (GSD) with nothing else mixed in, the WSS became it's own breed in the early 60s. According to the FCI breed standard the WSS should not be bred to a GSD because after years of breeding for different looks and temperament the breeds are fairly different now. The biggest difference that you will see in white GSDs VS a WSS is the pigmentation of skin. a WSS should have a black noes, paw pads, and around its eyes. this shows that the dog is not an albino VS the white GSD who will have pink noses and paw pads. The foundation WSS was not albino, he was bred many times creating the breed.

I haven'y yet no... I actually had to ask for a refund this morning because they dot have any proof that it was send and its been 6 weeks. very sad.

I was actually pretty upset, they were really hard to get a refund from and then once they refunded me they posted on their story about how it's rude to ask for a refund to a small business because they don't have the money for that stuff....... but don't just have $50+ to lose on a dog leash that was poorly made and wasn't even shipped out after 6 weeks.

You should get a bigger prong collar. That small one is for small dogs/puppies. And since he’s bigger now it should be his size
I encourage you to check out the facebook page "prong collar users - advice and training tips" It's a fantastic resource filled with some VERY educated people.
The size of the links on the prong do not actually correlate with the age of the dog. A 3.0 prong collar creates less pressure therefor not as clear communication for many dogs. The more links on the prong (smaller link size, aka 2.25) = more pressure therefore & more communication.
There are some who choose to use a 3.0 sized prong on longer coated dogs as it helps to protect the coat from breakage. At this time, when we still used the prong collar, he did struggle with some coat breakage around the area the prong was placed. Ultamatly I made the decision to go with clearer communication through the 2.25 VS 3.0, to me it was worth a little coat breakage.
Nothing is black and white, super important to remember that we have to train the dog in front of us, and the dog that you have in front of you might not learn the same as the dogs in front of others!
