@@kylemiller7825 But he/she did not ask to clean that sensor, the person wrote about cleaning the valves, typical GDi problemns with carbon build up over time and the person asking is afraid of spraying valve/turbo carbon build up cleaner through the sensor. That is they are asking for away through to spray the cleaner without damaging the any potential sensor in the way and one should avoid that from what I understand at very least.
Oooohhh yes its drive me krazy this.... i have 2012 hyndai accent and it is burning the 10 and 15 amps fuses that say injector and , i dont know yet but it looks like i need to disconect all the engine sensors to see wich one is on short and one of them is the map/maf sensor.... do you know some thing about this kind pf problem? thanks its been helpfull
Mas air sensor and maf sensors (both same thing) need cleaned regularly .. what about Map sensor ? never cleaned them before only replaced non functioning ones ?
That is not a customers car that is a used car from a used car lot .. you can tell because they are the only places that try to polish a TURD .. as in they do a quicky hap hazard pressure wash of the engine bay and spray clear automotive paint on everything in order to make it look clean and well cared for and maintained. I would NEVER purchase a car where this was done to because it takes massive effort to remove that paint that will discolor and turn brown and flake off from high temps in the engine bay.

😊😊😊😊
Thank you for clearing that up. 2015 Hyundai accent also has the same setup.
That's helpful, I was looking everywhere 😂
Great explanation. This is GDI engine. Will the GDI cleaner damage the MAP sensor? If so, how would you clean it?
I’m have the same question. Did find any answers? As I’m planing to use crc spray to clean the valves
Mass Air Flow Sensor needs to be cleaned by a special bottle. CRC Mass Air Flow is what you want to use for MAF or MAP.
