"When we got married and bought a house....I see everything that I own and what needs done and it just weighs on me"... This is me exactly!! I used to be so lazy (still can be) but I constantly see stuff that needs fixed or upgraded or done now.
"I was doing Analytical Geometry in high school..." Jordan's book, "How Arny uses analytical geometry to find his way home." Sorry! Could not resist; but as a home-schooler, I have seen many in our ranks feel dumb until we see others around us. Not to make anyone else feel bad, but we just lacked folks telling us we could not stuff like analytical geometry in high school. We were just like, "Huh, so that's how it works..." and moving on. Also, thank you for leaning to the cautious extreme with you and Sara on camera. There are too many leaning the opposite way and it is refreshing to see wholesome content without having to worry
Dude. I live on 20-40 acres where we have a greenhouse, a garden, and chickens. We moved here like 2 years ago, because it's basically always been my dad's dream. If my dad could get there, then you can definitely get there.
At 6:46 about the property, cow & chickens... I felt that so hard! Also the dream that God showed me for my life later on. Very important to have some self sufficiency in these days & serious times we're living in. God bless!
It's so weird how much I feel like I've gotten to know you guys, like old friends or something. I just oddly always get the sense that our families would have a lot in common, but maybe that's just you guys being relatable because of how genuine and transparent you are. Nonetheless, I think sometimes people can get to know us better than we realize just from our personality... and then others have no clue lol! Another fun video to watch either way!
In case you ever do a part two (electric boogaloo), here's some assumptions of mine about you: - You really like modern Evangelical worship music, especially artists like Aaron Shust and Lauren Daigle - You are really good with kids, but don't necessarily want kids of your own, at least not for another few years - You act oblivious, but are actually highly intelligent - You are every bit as depressed about the upcoming Amazon LOTR show as I am - You speak at least one foreign language - You are a huge fan of The Babylon Bee, and their affiliate news sites
Discovering Jordan's channel be like Day 1 - Who the heck is this guy???! He's odd. Day 837742 - I really like his channel, I would like to live as simple as he does.
Hey, I know you’ve watched endgame for the sake of that video about never watching a marvel movie before, but I really think it would be fun to see you react to the WandaVision show
I really related to what you said about being the youngest in your family. Everyone thinks it's so great being the baby, but it's actually kind of a tough position to be in the family.
I think a lot of assumption stem from you being homeschooled or how you portray yourself on this channel because you are different in different videos. Messyges has a more relaxed and comical theme, whilst videos with a topic are more serious. I think you'd be a nice dude to hang out with and have a drink with, even if it is just iced tea.
I would love to hear and read your children’s book, Jordan! I, myself, am also working on a couple children’s books, but the one I favor and I’m currently trying to work on is a early chapter book/middle grade book
Analytical geometry is 10th grade in Common Core. Not sure about Nashville in particular, but elsewhere it's definitely a high school requirement to take the class. Surprised that at college you found a lot of people had not done that, but perhaps that was a statistical consequence of being an English major
I have seen so many of Jordan's videos be sponsored by the mattress company so as soon as I saw this title, I was like "hmm.. I wonder how he would relate the mattress to this video?" 😅😅 (I guess it's a razor this time).

My first R-rated movie was Last of the Mohicans. My dad made me watch it and I thought it sounded so boring. So, in protest, I put an afghan over my head. But then I got interested in it and watched through a hole in the loose knit of the blanket.
I think it's so funny when people associate Trader Joe's with "health food." Sure, they have gluten free items and other stuff, but my family goes there only for the interesting snacks and junk food. 😂
Jordan just explained good husbandhood when it comes to stuff in the most honest way. Married for 25 years and that is my husband’s brain. I also want more land and all miniature animals including cows.
Jordan, what curriculum did you use in high school for math? When I was homeschooled we struggled to find anything good for math and that came to haunt me in college 😬
Oh if you ever publish that children story can I illustrate it? I mean, I'm not done with design school yet and we don't even know each other...but I'd love to participate if you're ever looking for something like that!

My first R rated movie was The Untouchables but if I’m being real, it seemed more tame than The Dark Knight (PG13) Anyways, I also have trouble watching stuff with “the s” in them. Watching general violence is pretty fine for me, but even watching a make out session still makes me squeamish (and I’m in college😂)
I'm french, I didn't realise the untouchables is R rated in the US. France has extremely low ratings (12 for 50 shades of grey, I think the Untouchables has no rating at all). I'm extremely squeamish so for me generally I struggle to watch movies rated 12 or 16 for violence in France (usually R rated or 18+ elsewhere), and I'm in university, but I don't mind make-out etc... I'm very surprised the untouchables has any rating at all though, I honestly cannot think of any reason why
@@amelie3012 it’s been a bit since I’ve seen it, but I think it was mostly the elevator scene. In the US, you can’t really show blood. This rule leads to things like Netflix Daredevil getting TV-MA ratings too. But it’s a finicky system, a lot of swearing (particularly the f word) will get you an R rating generally, or things with a lot of alcohol or drug use, so pretty violent movies will not swear or drink and they eek by with PG-13. But any sort of explicit sex scene will get you an R/TV-MA.
I just look away when every kissing or nude scene comes on and if there is a sex scene I will generally find a reason to leave the room for a minute (refill popcorn or get a drink). But I watch a lot of R rated movies. (I’m 18)
