They start out simple and shallow and as you go through the book, the questions get more deep, both spiritually (with a Christian perspective for the most part) and philosophically.
Y’all seem to have a great dynamic, and grow together beautifully. I remembered this when my fiancé came over last night and asked the questions I could remember. I found that if he could live anywhere in the world, it’s 20 minutes away where he thinks he could open up a successful barber shop. 😂 Was interesting how the question revealed a bigger dream than just changing locations.
One of the best wedding gifts my husband and I got was a card set called "Our Moments-for couples" Conversation starters for great relationships. We love to take it on road trips with us or camping trips because it helps facilitate these kinds of conversations❤ I know you guys would love it!
That was really sweet. I love the way you guys are so open and honest with each other. I like how when you realized there were these things you didn't know, you're just like, 'Hey, let's ask each other'. I love pulling apart the vacuum cleaner! We had a dodgy cleaner my whole life, really love our new one. Sarah, what you said about Your faults also being strengths...I recently found out that some of the things I hated the most about myself were the very things that my friends Loved about me. It was a real wake up call.

I have never been able to come across someone who made me feel so special and loved. Heck, I even cried when I first listened to “It’s You I Like”. Mr. Rogers is a gem and I’m glad there are others like me who consider him their hero ❤️

Regarding the question about what makes you angry: Jordan, you said one thing that is “righteous anger” and another “unrighteous anger,” but I think it’s important to realize that being indignant when you are consistently unheard is just as righteous to be upset about as being angry when someone else is wronged.
Craziest thing I've done in the name of love was drive 600 mi back home from Colorado to Missouri 2 days before I said I would be back to surprise my boyfriend. He was surprised!
Sara, I relate exactly on the hugs issue!!! I love hugs but I’ll hold back until somebody approaches me first with a hug. But I wish I was like my best friend more in that way because she has no physical boundaries🤣 and will give everybody hugs no matter what! The. If it’s a person who doesn’t like hugs, she’ll hug longer and harder and make a production of it ha and it’s just really endearing about her. Also, I’m really small, so I can’t like “overpower” people in a sense haha! (This sounds bad😅) but she’s really tall and has long arms so she can just scoop everybody up quite easily. Maybe that has something to do with it🤔🙃
There is a deck of cards called the intimacy deck that has a bunch of random question prompts in a few different categories that I loved doing with my now ex It's one of the things I enjoyed the most and got the most out of, I would recommend those if you're looking for some offline conversation helpers in this area!

I really do think having conversations about big things that don't necessarily hold any real weight is super important for a healthy relationship, being open and willing to talk about things, especially things you hold long term views and opinions on and to hear out a different perspective and allow that to inform the way you think and understand the world is very healthy
