Question about the R8a atmos speakers, clearly you've done a bit more homework than me. Do they perfectly match with the R11s. As they look a different size sitting on top.

It's your ears that pick the speakers.
If I can suggest something.
Add a 200 watt Amp to them
You will be blown away by how they really sound then.
You will be properly driving them, and they will be a lot cleaner, especially if you use a very good amp with low THD
you will hear so much more detail.

Awesome video as always max. Guess what the sony a90j won the UK tv shootout also first year a tv has ever won both shootouts I'm the same year and sony has never won the hdtv test UK shootout it did with the a90j this is huge awesome stuff
Thank you 🙏🏾 for the kind words. I’m ecstatic that the A90J won once again in a shootout. People do not understand how great the A90J is when it comes to watching content. Sony has done some truly amazing with that TV. People would have to see this in person at their house to really understand how great it is.

They do look great in white.!! I noticed your grill on the left speaker has that ripple in 2 spots in it. Very weird. My one had it too. Tell kef or Best Buy they should send u a new one. They did for me. Enjoy !!

Good video. What about that centre channel being enclosed within a half restricted cabinet fascia, any problems with understanding the dialogue? Obviously you're not going to place it on top of the cabinet, just wondering have you done any sound comparison though.
Update: This video convinced me to buy a pair of white R11s to upgrade from the R5s I just got, since the sale is going on!

@@Jack181996 to be honest, not really other than aesthetics. The additional drivers in the R11 are bass drives, and since I had dual 18" subwoofers I was not exactly lacking in bass, but for 2 channel I'm sure they are a little better. I do like the looks of the R11's a lot more in my big room. R5's are very small.

Does the BDI Cabinet affect the center channel's sound at all? It always bothered me that the middle section would block the tweeter.
No, it doesn't affect the sound. However, I purchased some more av gear, and I had to move the speaker on top if the BDI cabinet. If you look at my latest videos and you can see the latest update.
How stable are they? Could a little kid easily knock one over?

Excellent 😎 the dialog is so clear on the KEF R11. Definitely worth the money.
what color grey is on your walls?
The primary paint light grey color is Flagstone from PPG. The darker grey Dover Gray from PPG as well.
was this with sub on?
Yep, the small Aperion sub was on 😁

grill quality typical UK DIY company.
you have a lot of reverberation in a room. shame, as those speakers are worth that u tame the reflections, otherwise you are listening your room AND not your beautiful KEFs!
