Vehicle breaks, send over 9 ton reinforced vehicle over - it worked. Created a refuling and mining operation on Gilly. Because i didnt teleport stuff all my ascend stages had to be flown over to Eve and testet there. Lot was easier because Mechjeb but it took months (in realtime) to get a working rocket. My ascending stage was smaller but way wider with asparagus staging. The final stage was just a small engine with a small fuel tank and a seat. It barely managed to get into orbit. Eve orbit and surface was littered with remains of failed attempts. It was awesome!

A way to avoid cheats at all would be to remove the ladders and parachutes with an engineer kerbal on Eve, and for the ladder issue, flying above the ascent vehicle, jumping off the plane, deploying the EVA chute and landing on top of the ascent vehicle (or grabbing the ladder in flight)
Try moving your SRB couplers past the center of gravity of the empty booster. That will help them fall away from the rocket, instead of rolling in toward it

Maybe do a grand tour! A lot of other KSP youtubers do that, and you are definiteley skilled enough. (a grand tour is a mission that lands on every body and returns)
You opted for the aerobrake approach which is better in some ways than a real heat shield, Eve atmo is so thick that the ship will be pushed to go sideways ans burn if it is elongated. The aerobrake makes the ship act as a dart and stays stable. For other ships or rovers that have irregular shapes, I prefer to build a custom shield on the side that will act as a belly for reentry, Space Shuttle style, it works like a charm, you still have to add some weight in it to make sure the CoM points in the direction of the shield. The other way to ensure a safe Eve reentry is to add a deceleration stage to prevent the ship from burning. (you can add a bottom to the return vessel that will act as entry for Kerbals and launch platform with adjustable landing legs for leveling the thing on rough terrain, the bottom having a large docking port to be docked at first with a transfer/deceleration stage, allowing you to launch the mission in several takes from Kerbin as you did. That way you are not forced to build a very brutal launch system from Kerbin in the first place and nuclear transfer stage can take charge for Kerbin-Eve transfer. One thing is sure, Eve is THE FINAL boss, at least for a a surface crewed mission, the other missions are very easy, small payloads are very easy to manage with a proper aeroshell and heatshield or a belly shield.
You should work on improving your gravity turn to increase fuel efficiency. The more time you spend burning up is fuel spent on fighting directly against gravity, essentially wasting fuel, what you want to do instead is burn straight up until you get out of the thickest atmosphere, which isn't that high, and gradually start dipping the rocket into a horizontal position, you should be completely horizontal before you even leave the atmosphere.
You seem to be conflating drag and gravity - gravity takes very long distances to significantly lower its effect, while the atmosphere very quickly lowers in thickness. But the end result is the same lol
@@Roach18 I built a lander from a fuel tank, the mk1 module, rover wheels, terrier engine, lander struts and a TON of solar panels. It's really not that hard. more context: it's a sort of basic flight log but the main thing the f3 menu does is just show you a list of every part that blew up also Aerodynamics is kinda important, not hugely but still you want to have aerodynamic rockets, and the way it works in KSP, is that the more slopped in the front it is, the better and you need to have all the width of a rocket (the cross section to the airstream) be in front of a cone, to do that, just make sure that none of the attachement nodes (the green balls in the editor) are empty, make sure that all of them have something attached to them, and make sure that it's something pointy if those nodes are facing towards where you are going if you have a large fuel tank, put a slanted adapter, then a nose cone, KSP doesn't do proper aerodynamics, but it does read the front face of any part, then gives it drag, linear to how large it is, and squared to how flat it is if, however, there is a part that is attached to the node, and the same size (important!), then the drag value for that part in the front will be ZERO!!!! so to recap for KSP aerodynamics, always have stuff as slanted as possible towards the front, even if it looks silly (or just sacrifice efficiency for aesthetics, that's fine too), then make sure that there is no green node that is facing towards the front with nothing attached, if there is, cover it up with a nosecone, or conical fuel tank, and if it's too large for any nose cone, put adapters that make the front narrower and narrower until a nosecone can fit
for your Eve getaway rocket, you actually did a very good job as far as KSP is concerned for aerodynamics, you had every node attached to something, there never was a flat surface towards the front, and it all expanded from smaller nodes for example, the way you did it, with a 1.25m splitter that creates 2 nodes, then slowly working your way up from those two 1.25m nodes to the big 3.75m nodes is EXACTLY what KSP wants, so your rocket was very aerodynamic, even if it looked silly and had tanks clipping into each other, as far as the aerodynamics of the game you did a good job (which matters a lot on Eve with it's huge atmopshere)
