I have personally experienced this in a positive way. I had a financial entanglement with a family member who was taking advantage of me (they're not a christian). I had a word from God to no longer say negative things to people in my life, including them. So, I stopped discussing the problem and trying to solve it in my own strength. I also tried my best to no longer talk about the problem with my husband. Friends even encouraged me to take legal action and thought I was naive to not do anything. I remember praying and surrendering to God, knowing that I have a heavenly inheritance. It was painful, because we had debt and my husband was working 2 jobs at the time. I kept praying for the situation and the family member. Within a year, everything changed, and God provided money at the perfect time.Even now, my husband works a 35 hr work week and makes more money than he did with 2 jobs. It was really an amazing answer to prayer.

“Why not accept the injustice and leave it at that?”
Serious question time. I’m a single dad, my wife abandoned me and our 2 kids, and I’ve raised them on my own for over a decade. My oldest (15yr old) is special needs, nonverbal, he can’t do anything on his own, so I tube feed him 7 times a day, bathe him, change his diapers, take him to all of his therapies and doctors appointments, etc. Their mom shows up to see them a few times a year (supervised), but never the less, I told her the door is open anytime she wants to visit the kids.
After the divorce I entered into a relationship with a female that has serious problems with promiscuity, lies, and pure evilness. We had a daughter together, and I felt like staying together was the right thing to do. After a couple of years of trying to make it work for our daughter’s sake, my fiancée became too overbearing for me to deal with, so I left.
We worked out custody arrangements, and she’s NEVER held to her end. I have a daughter that I don’t get to see and be a part of her life, and it eats at me because I’m a great dad that would raise my daughter in the church, just as I have with my 2 boys. Little girls need their dad especially for having a role model, disciplinary figure/leader, and example of how a man should treat a woman. I’ve asked my ex-fiancée hundreds of times why I never get to see my daughter, and never once received an answer.
    Here’s my question:
Should I cut all ties with my ex and daughter because of the never ending injustice I receive for (unjustifiably) not being allowed to be a part of my daughters life because of my ex’s poor decisions? Should I accept the injustice and leave it at that?
Lately I’ve felt defeated and have considered accepting the injustice by cutting ties and completely removing myself from her life. I feel like it’s too late for me to raise my daughter into a Christian woman, because her mom certainly isn’t setting a good example of how women/mothers should act.
Sorry it took me forever to get to my question, I felt a backstory was necessary.

Although, yes, God WILL forgive, Unfortunately you WILL suffer the consequences of sin. Please ask God to help you make better choices in that area.
Second. Please, please don't cut ties with your daughter. Even if you don't see her often, try calling her, emailing her, message her on social media, heck! Send her a card on birthdays, holidays, etc. She NEEDS to know you at least always tried and never gave up on her. As she gets older and understands life more, she'll see the truth and will remember you always tried.

If she wasn’t a God fearing woman yet you still got involved with her then that was the first mistake you made but know that no matter what you will always be her father 1 day she will want to know who you are or ask questions on why she never got to see her so even if you’re going through the injustice never close your doors to your daughter.

It is obvious that God's ways are not man's ways. So, that is all I was pointing out.... God's ways and not always man's ways.

The Bible does not say that slavery is NOT okay with God.
      The Bible literally says:
      Leviticus 25:44-46
You may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way.
      And
      Exodus 221:7-8
7 And if a man sells his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do. 8 If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
      Furthermore, Jesus literally said,:
      Matthew 5:18
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Neighbors dog barks during your nap time. Neighbors dog poops on your lawn. We let it all go and save the real fight for the real issues. Have you ever known someone who is an atheist ? Most of them are always looking for a reason to sue other people. The words "I would sue them" comes out of their mouths in conversation all of the time. Without wanting to reconcile, but looking to heal and move on, I entered a book study called "The Bait of Satan", where being offended is his greatest and most effective weapon to get Christians to turn against each other. In this book was this and other scripture. It caused me to pause and take a more peaceful approach. This calmness allowed God to work in both of us, even though she received it with caution. He was a young man who got off course by deep grieve. The trial had to be rescheduled, but I dismissed it. He never harmed another person. ❤

hurts beyond words when Christians don't handle matters according to Gods Word.
I testify 💔 ...nothing but pain, and the constant daily fight in prayer to be delivered from being captive to bitter roots and unforgiveness.
If we claim to be children of the King, we simply cannot walk about in His kingdom with sibling rivalry.
Settle the matter with the Father, and do while it is still Today, that He might be glorified.

“When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life! So if you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who have no standing in the church? I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers, but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? But you yourselves wrong and defraud-even your own brothers!”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭ESV‬‬
Christ in the book of Matthew says that we should take matters to our brothers. Paul is saying that it would be better to not do that than to take them to a court of the unrighteous.

  • @alexr.3504

In context, this verse is about wealthy Christians suing other Christians. We shouldn’t avoid using the authorities God institutes (Rom 13:1-7) because wickedness outside the body of believers isn’t going to answer to the church. They’ll answer to God, of course, and we should always forgive, but sometimes turning someone in helps them repent. Court is expensive and lengthy, and arbitration is a much better option, but we shouldn’t just let people off the hook. They may continue and hurt someone else even worse. Forgiveness doesn’t mean ignoring.

I got a story that didn't go well. My mom refused to sue a hospital because she believed it was getting revenge. They hospital killed my brother and they tried to lie and cover it up. They called her telling her your son died and he died choking on a chicken bone. We decided to get an autopsy done and then they confessed they killed him. We had a criminal trial and they got months in prison because the judge thought it was a mistake. She did not want to sue the hospital because she believed God would take care of it and she didn't want to get revenge. My mom died in. 2014 she ended up broke with no money. i felt she regretted giving up that civil lawsuit. One day she said the devil told her she should of sued them. I don't think that was the devil that told her that. I felt she should of because that is not revenge.

This is why the almighty God included the boom “Job” cause this shows and explains that everything will not always be “Perfect” even as children of God we still live in a “fallen world” and are subject to certain things on the physical plain.
We can pull power and protection from God via prayer but If things don’t go our way we must still worship as he is our creator and ruler of heaven and earth.
We are not promised a glorious life here on earth with no issues. We are only promised Eternal life and that he will see us through on this physical plain until the end and give his angels charge over us Psalms 91 📖🕯️

I see a lot of comments in here saying something to the effect of "I could have sued bit I didn't.". That's all well and good if that's what you decide to do (I've done that myself actually) but remember that this passage is talking about Christians suing Christians. Not lawsuits in general. If you were harmed badly by a hospital, this verse doesn't apply. If you were harmed by a job (other than a church or Christian organization) this verse does not apply. It specifically refers to Christians taking Christians to court. With that said it also doesn't COMMAND us to take non Christians to court. A non-believer can learn a lot about Christ when we are Christ to others.

Because we still have pride and ego, we still function from a soul level not the spirit level. Only a seriously prayer life gets us out of self and can allow others to think of us as fools. We want to be seen what we can do and how intelligent we are, we forgot about Jesus living through us!
