Great video! 👏 Since the end goal is to resolve conflict, I am a little confused though as to how avoidance can help with that. Wouldn't it have the opposite effect?
First, let me note that I am applying the conflict modes model to negotiation here. But, to the substantial point of your question... Sometimes you can'r resolve conflict... so you are better off avoiding it than engaging. For example, if tempers are too high. Likewise, with negotiation. If the effort of negotiating cannot possibly bringa an outcome that is worthwhile, then avoid wasting your time negotiating.

Thank you but, actually, I don't. I'm all for financial freedom, but I know nothing about trading, except that it is high-risk and not suited to unsophisticated or low-net-worth investors like me.
When I first came across the conflict modes, it was a revelation. But they became useful to me when I started applying them to structured negotiation.
