Lifted 4x4 fire engine goes to a Christmas parade! Sparkles the Firetruck

Took Sparkles the Firetruck out to Rosholt WI today for there Christmas parade. Tons of happy kids young and old there!
Sparkles is powered by a Detroit Diesel 8v92TA which is a 12L 2 stroke diesel V8, do you get to hear a cold start of it! Of course it straight piped too.

Love it! Wasn't this going to be a camper conversion though? ;) I keep getting tempted by these trucks when I see them pop up for sale. So far, I've resisted!

I would have loved to have gotten more but sometimes time isn't on my side and being in the parade throwing candy was the priority!
