I can't imagine taking three active boys into any kind of store, but they were all so well behaved. You are doing a wonderful job with parenting.

Fun! I love when you show the thrift stores with your camera and I’m like “ ooh I want that and that…” everyone likes different things. I used to shop with my son, he’s 26 now, when he was little. Actually, we still love flea markets and thrift stores. Have a great fall. ❤️

I love everything about having boys! Mine are grown now so I love seeing you interact with your precious little guys. I love your videos because you have such a kind personality. Enjoy every moment being a boy mom! I have a granddaughter now so I’m learning about having a little girl in the family!
I love thrifting!! There are so many great finds out there that add a certain charm to a home that you can't get by purchasing new items. Except for my large furniture items, I have been thrifting for 40+ years, long before it was a thing. I would go to Tag Sales in order to stretch my budget, as I couldn't afford to put the finishing touches on my home any other way. I found pictures, decor items, curtains, pillows, rugs, lamps, etc. I approached thrifting like I was a decorator, adding a piece at a time to suit my style. It has to be affordable, yet functional and beautiful. Also, I don't feel bad if I want to change something, as I didn't invest a lot. In addition, thrifting IS FUN!!! I can't wait to see the new nursery makeover!!!

You are so cute. It’s fun to see you excited about your neat thrift finds. I too love to thrift ( it does take energy) but then again one gets energized when finding something useful and “neat” . Loved seeing you thrift with your sweet boys! So fun! Our kids learned to 'look with your eyes and not with your hands' through many thrift and antique store adventures! Such good memories!!! I love the dusty blue buffalo check curtains - very perfect for a little boys room but something they can grow with as well - they are just so classic!!!

Only about three items in my home are new furniture! Couches were new minus one and beds but everything else is second hand and we love it all! I agree you don’t need lots of money just a good eye and redoing furniture it a great skill

I love gingham and buffalo print too! I made some really cute pillowcases that I paired with solid sheets I use all the time.

You found some great things, Andrea! Your boys are so good-so well behaved, not surprisingly. So refreshing to see little ones NOT running the aisles screaming. I had to laugh when you passed up that rolling pin as I have been putting a big crock together with all rolling pins and I went antiquing yesterday to find a couple more. They were anywhere from $4 to $40…but in my hunt for rolling pins, I came across the most beautiful old antique pine sideboard-something you hardly ever run across. Figuring it would be close to $1000, I looked at the tag and saw $350…WOW! Just went and picked it up and came home to your thrifting video. And the best news is, my husband was actually impressed! Hahaha Anyway-it’s always fun when you find something you really love! And good for you for the “ugh” about Halloween. I’m totally with you on that. ☺️.

My grandmother used a tin, just like that, as her biscuit dough cutter. Made the perfect size biscuits.

I shop second hand all the time. I get such a boost finding treasures. All your choices of fabrics are wonderful. I just scored enough lace panels to redo a whole house if I needed to. I probably paid less than 20 for all of them. (I have victorian home) so many windows are in need of something pretty in them.
Those Ralph Lauren sheets are high end , been pricing them for my bed.
I love these thrifting videos. They’re so relaxing to watch! It’s also fun because it feels like I’m thrifting, too. So, I always think, “Hm, I like that! I could use that in my kitchen!” Shopping without the cost. 😜

Absolutely! Funny about y our bunny, I am in my 50's and here recent when I was very sick, I told my youngest " I need a teddy bear! I just wanted to hold on to something that would give me comfort. So.... I was thinking I need to buy one retail. But your video has inspired me ot check the thrift stores FIRST! I can always toss it in the washer on Sanitize. Thank you!

Oh my goodness the fines were so cute. My daughters and I both love thrift and as well. At Thanksgiving my oldest daughter and I travel to Kansas to my youngest daughters house and thrift it at her local thrift store. And we felt like we hit the jackpot like you. I found a China set from Japan 63 pieces for $15 I was like what? I couldn’t believe it we had so many carts of thrift items. Now my Younger sister and I have a couple booths in a nearby town and I’ll hold back a car load full of things that were so cheap that I could resell them I own both here in Missouri. It was awesome so I know the feeling it’s almost like the Fourth of July lol.

I had to laugh when you told one of your boys "Check it out it's a coin collecting poster" and he quickly replied "Check it out it's a bow and arrow" Gabe has great taste in artwork, love the horse picture.
