Great review guys. Another great sherried IB Laphroaig I can recommend is the Signatory 30th Ann. 20 year old. It's the European release. Probably the best if you put it in a tasting with these two.
Great comparison guys! I picked the 16 up at auction a few weeks ago for $750. By the looks of your review it was a good buy. Going to compare it to the Whisky Exchanges 21 year Laphroaig bottling.
I go back and forth there! That PX cairdeas last year and these two IBs have changed my mind a lot in the last year! But I am still team ex bourbon on their 25 years.
Enjoyable video guys but not sure how you can just have two bottles (pretty good ones I agree) and suggest one might be "best Laphroaig sherry bomb ever". Presumably you have not tried the 1967 Samaroli bottling!🤔
Laphroaig is always a hitter with me. Those two are great bottles and anyone who enjoys peaty scotch will love these. 🥃 Watching you two add water to those drams seems like it was excessive. I’m looking at the amount of scotch in the glass to water. Just my thoughts 💭.
We're getting used to using that pipette, it's a bit a different feel for how much water you're getting. That said, CS heavy sherry laphroaig can take some water!
Let's face it, Laphroaig is pretty maliable. Sherry, bourbon, combination of the two, different ages and it, more often than not, produces the goods. Indi bottles still rule the roost but that situation is in sharp decline. Cheers. Welsh
Laphroaig is just an amazing spirit its the drop that got me into Scotch and I've been hooked ever since. These bottles sound amazing!!
Great vid, Laphroaig😋😋

These sound fantastic. One of my favorite OBs is the old Laphroaig 18 YO. That combo of peat and oloroso sherry is intoxicating.
We both wish they'd bring those back!

Nice!
I like peat and sherry but Laphroaig is best matured in bourbon casks imo.

Laphroaig is probably my favorite distillery. I have an unopened Berry Bros and Rudd 18 Laphroaig at 46%. I shall enjoy it one day! Cheers bros

I'll be waiting for our sample :)
