That's not the issue. Homer will end up spending all that money and nothin will be left for the 13 year old. That's why the dad is trying to fight for control.

The low amount really surprised me too! She's been in huge movies. I've heard of major movie stars that were in financial trouble before though, a lot of things can happen and when you get money, there are a lot of people and circumstances that seem to conspire to take it from you. I hope that Homer can manage her residuals responsibly.
Just split it 50/50… set it up in a trust for them both until they are 25. Where with a younger one the father can’t touch it. And for the older one he’ll just have to wait a few more years to access it.

@@LCx829 A lot of people have the wrong idea that everyone famous Hollywood star is rich. While I'm not sure the reasons why Anne is only worth $400,000, there are others who get paid very little for their work. I know this to be the case especially with musicians.

Right, if all of the damages exceed her car insurance cap, her estate is then liable for the overages. Nevermind if her cap does manage to cover everything, atty fees are take a big chunk of that $400,000. The kids MIGHT end up with MAYBE 50k each

It does not surprise me that the oldest son was appointed administrator of his mom estate for now. Hopefully he has some good sound minded people around him to help make good decisions about the estate. As far as what here estate is worth it does surprise me it around this amount. She may have been in some blockbuster movies and tv show but depending on she negotiated her contracts for compensation. She could of had a one time fee or a sake in the movie or tv show for future payments. The judge was right for giving the ex an earful of how handled himself in this matter he could have done this in private but drag it out for the world to see 😕

The bag was a protective covering given that she had such severe burns. Her skin was burned off to 3rd degree. Exposure to ANYTHING would cause an infection...dust, air, clothing fibers, anything. The bag was to protect her open wounds.

Homer's father begged the courts not to allow her custody when they split due to her serious drug addiction and it's quite possible that James Tapper who raised Homer for 10 years thinks he isn't equipped to manage his mother's estate. Since her death I watched many of Ann's podcasts and the woman was drunk and stoned throughout most episodes. I'd put Tapper in charge with executive oversight.

Some weeks ago, I read about 4 million. At the same time she was said to have financial problems and to have taken a loan she couldn' pay back. This doesn't sound as if she was really rich. She lived with Atlas for rent in an Appartment and drove a mini cooper. If there still is any estate, it should be used to reimburse the victims of her accidents, also the holder of the garage she hitted first.
