  • Echidna look like hedghogs but they are not. They are much closely related to platypuses. Echidna live in Australia and New Guinea, they are egg-laying mammals of the monotreme order. This HD footage shows an echidna walking in a forest near Sydney.
    This is a wild echidna contrary to most videos on youtube showing echdina from zoos. Also, we did not touch it and tried as much as we could not to disturb it.

    It's good to see this echidna up close in the wild. They are really weird and amazing animals.
