- Echidna look like hedghogs but they are not. They are much closely related to platypuses. Echidna live in Australia and New Guinea, they are egg-laying mammals of the monotreme order. This HD footage shows an echidna walking in a forest near Sydney.
This is a wild echidna contrary to most videos on youtube showing echdina from zoos. Also, we did not touch it and tried as much as we could not to disturb it.
