🤣 sorry, I have a video where I show this step. The gold is added to the silicon mold. You can also mix it into the cement mix with the mica powder... but for best results add on mold.

Could you give me some advice? I’ve began making tester jars and I made a brown slightly darker than yours and it isn’t as smooth. The it has a ashy tint to it . Also, I just demoulded another one this morning and the color is darker in some areas. When mixing my pigment, cement and sand I make sure to mix dry first and then to a pancake consistency when adding the water. I’m losing my crap 🥹

I tried making similar jars with silicone molds, how long do you let the cement cure for before removing it from the mold? Mines tend to crack not sure if it is the type of cement I purchased. Great jobs one your molds they look very nicely done and would look beautiful as a decor piece ❤

      Hi Yaniris,
Thank you sooo much for your feedback. ✨
I typically de-mold within 4-6 hours of casting the molds. Since the cement tends to sweat during the curing process I like to get them out of the mold ASAP.
What brand are you using? I'm currently working with Cement All and it has been great! I have also found that the amount and type of water maters.
      Try using distilled water.
I live in florida, and have used both sink and distilled water to cast my molds. Both have worked great.
I hope this info was helpful. Let me know how it goes.

    • @YanirisTarot

Thank you so much for your tips and information. I will try switching the cement, I have a feeling it is not great my mold tend to crack as I am taking them out. Sometimes they are uneven and have air bubbles. I do tap down and try shaking it to get bubbles out. Most likely it is the cement. Thank you again for your help and videos☺🤗
