Take this as a constructive feedback: it would be nice to hear you talking about what pigments, the proportions, mixing, weights,...you are using, instead of small talks. When I say this, believe me, I speak for everyone: nobody cares about your personal life, preferences,...sorry to say this. If we click here is to "learn the secret of vibrant colours in concrete", nothing else, no nonsense talks
Same. I've been watching alot of DIY videos about emergent cement- & concrete-related technologies. DIY geopolymers, aircrete, etc. Also how to make my own acrylic paints from the constituent components. "A little bit of that, 1 'scoop' of this, a bit of water until it's about this consistency, and you should hope that it doesn't crack like my last one did." Science is hard to make exciting, and it's a bit of extra work to do in the first place to end up with a consistent product, but for a DIY video it would be nice to put a little infographic up on the screen of measurements of everything. Because without the one creator who made the video doing a bit of science as a starting point for the viewers to replicate and grow from, all the thousands or millions of viewers now have to do the science themselves or trial and error until they're able to 'feel it out' like pro chefs do without measuring things. Just some food for thought ;)
First time I've seen you, you're both nice! In Italy we say "PISTAKKIO" and it is written "PISTACCHIO" :) I wanted to ask you if you knew of any pigments similar to these to buy them in Europe? Thank you! keep it up!
With a basic primary colours set, yes. Apart from neon, but these aren't light-fast anyway... There are loads of artists who've made excellent colour mixing videos on YT. They're not specifically for concrete - more watercolour or acrylics - but the colour principles are the same.
I had no idea what this video was supposed to be about. Would have been cool to hear you explaining what youre doing, like quantities etc. I turned off after a couple of minutes as the small talk drove me mad. Pistakio is the correct way to say it not pistashio and its neesh not nitch
Amiericans say "nitch" English speaking countries that was British colonies tend to say "neesh". The latter is the British English pronunciation. The former, I don't think is the American pronunciation per se, but seems to have become accepted there.

I agree , would prefer more talk on the pigments ,than small talk
aw thank you, glad you like the video!
thanks for the love :)
This exactly.

I'm so confused... was there supposed to be a reveal of types of pigments used? I feel cheated a little. 😟
I love the basalt-ish colour! a mustard in there would've been nice. How much pigment can you use before you compromise the mix?
Straight to the comments. No secrets revealed.
I'm British, and it is most definitely "Neesh" - you are both right.
I cannot bear the Americanised "Nitch!"

Where's the best place to find molds like those? Or do you make your own?
We make them
Can you wash the pots when finished? Or should you? I’m finding they are dusty after sanding thank you!
Are you using Grey Matter or another concrete mix? Mix design can account for more dust. You probably also need to seal your object.
@@CONCRETECONCRETE thank you 😊 I’m using cement all. And I usually only seal the inside because I don’t like the shiny finish on the outside.
theoretically, is it possible to make any colour with different pigment ratios?

The prices on your website are ridiculous, you people should be ashamed of yourselves, for trying to rip people off.
hi! Is the white pigment titanium dioxide? :)
Yes.
Do you know the silicone used to make the molds?
Yes

It's a French word. And there's no "t" in it.
It’s a mauve more than a purple.
Mandala, or mandala? 🤔
exactly!
"Al You Mini Um" is so extra for aluminum lol. Shout out to the editor, the edits are a cool added layer of entertainment.
Rat girl + cat boy = amazing team
be careful rat girl , this cat is dangerous
Whoa
Everyone says GIF.
Aluminum and aluminium have two different spellings, and pronunciations. If we spelt it aluminium, we would probably say aluminium too.
Thank you, I didn't know!
Spelt or spelled?
Just listening to two girls chirping away = mute!

I think so?
