The MUTOs are the first kaiju since Monster x from Godzilla Final wars that were seen in the movie screens and The MUTOs are Godzilla's first completely original opponents that he faced since the Titanosaurus that appeared in Terror of Mechagodzilla. Every other enemy Godzilla has fought since then are either enemies he has fought before, clones of him, or are derived from or based on an existing monster. So Legendary went full on Creative with the MUTO designs and they were a success as they instantly became fan favourites. But since Legendary went AWOL with their life cycle info, We, MindQ will present a whole new picture into this missing part conforming to the facts as best we could without alienating a creature that is already very mysterious.
So what do we know about the MUTOs? We have seen four of them till now including the one in the comics Godzilla Aftershock. So there is the Male muto, the female muto, MUTO prime and lastly barb the queen muto. And all along the way we got to see the spores of these titans and the chrysalis that they cocooned themselves in as well as miniature female mutos in many scenes of Godzilla 2014 in the desert, in san Francisco as they were encased in soft eggs inside the female muto and then laid in a large hole dug by the female. So, the question arises? If they were laid as eggs, then why did the two come out from spores? And why were all four of these mUtos so very different from each other.

It always gets me sad that when the Muto prime infected that godzilla,the ancient people that worshiped him had to watch thier god slowly wither away and become weaker each day,and there was nothing they could do about it...emagine how terrifying and depressing that would be...

Being possibly the in her later life-cycle stage just above that of M.U.T.O Prime, Queen MUTO bears similar characteristics of the latter while still retaining ordinary female MUTO; she maintains their dark body color, multiple scythe-like limbs, and red elongated eyes. She also retains her previous life-cycle's limb arrangement while having newly developed spiky back like the Prime.
The life cycle is kinda like mothra
i have another theory.
Muto prime was attempting a hostile takeover of the planet by overwhelming it with its offspring. It itself could not do this so it created offspring by parasitizing other titans and titan related creatures.
Barbara was born from godzilla's kin but was cowed into obedience by godzilla. Her brother/mate could have been killed in the process or was also cowed into obedience.
The other mutos were born from another victim entirely and godzilla didn't get to them before they were born.
the offspring in question were never going to become 'true mutos'. They were a new life form that is meant to spread across the planet so that muto prime could claim dominion.
they are like bears,after waking up they need to eat a lot of radiation to get energy and get powerful.
The MUTOs were practically the only straight couple left in San Francisco.

The female muto might have been born pregnant with unfertilized eggs like Queen Ants if they hadn't mated with a Drone Ant. The Male Muto was possibly an asset for the female to become the new Prime.

Actually according to the design team Mutos dont have exoskeletons and when Godzilla kills Femuto is killed if you look closely you can see her spine. I love your videos
Exoskeletons aren’t good for large animals but bones are which is why they might have both exo and indo sketelons

They seems like a mix of organisms, which i think is fitting for a prehistoric parasite.
Lays eggs like monotremes (platypus, echidna), lifecycle of a fern/jellyfish, absorb radiation like black mold, metamorphosize like insects, hard casing with four set appendages like arachnid but with mammalian flesh and bone inside, repurposed arms as wings like chiroptera (bats)

Destroyah, Orga, and Megaguirus are original monsters after Titanosaurus and before MUTO, even if you include monsters with connections to Godzilla such as Biollante and SpaceGodzilla as unoriginal.

@@goldedrag111 Aye fair enough. By that logic, Megaguirus is also a clone because the Meganula swarm absorbed Godzilla DNA and injected it into her. But my point on Destroyah still stands, so the heart of the message is unchanged.

@@goldedrag111 I thought he was just injecting Junior with Micro Oxygen, but a quick look at Wikizilla says that he did absorb Godzilla DNA. That's only his final form though, so the Aggregate and Flying forms are still original.
Imagine if theres no muto prime anymore in the movie series, And imagine if the muto from king of the monsters somehow infected godzilla with spores (maybe?) or if it's actually a child of the 2 mutos from 2014 and survived and is going to be a prime muto.
for a MUTO to become a MUTO prime a femuto needs to eat her mate and the one in KoTM seems to be obedient to godzilla
He could just beam Barbara and probably do the same to her relative Femuto from 2014. And Queen Muto or Barb seems to respect Godzilla, The four Titans saw how Godzilla obliterated Ichi's head after all.
Godzilla already killed a muto Prime. That's why his plates are different in 2019 then 2014 because he had to regrow them and it's stated that after battle experience or a long period of time Titans (specifically Godzilla ) can grow larger and more deadly.
More radiation Godzilla is subject to the larger and stronger he gets just like KoM

@Shadow_ Endrit thing i see that the muto doesnt alway need to put their eggs on a titan body even it's what they almost alway does. Godzilla emerge when he detected the mutos's awakening fearing a futur new muto prime, the mutos instead of other vilain have no real bad intention, just want to reproduce

In the opening scene, the eggs were as big as dump trucks, and during the final battle, they’re now the size of beach balls? That is one confusing life cycle. Also, headcanon, MUTO Prime was an elder MUTO while Queen MUTO was her daughter who is older than the regular female MUTO but younger than her biological mother.
And also in the beginning, they were parasitically injected into a prey animal.
