It’s these kinds of scenes that saved the Mutos for me. They were literally designed by combining and having them look like every single Godzilla enemy, which is literally how the “generic” is described. However, the way they animate the creature is phenomenal, but with Tips it over the edge is the sound design. My god, the sound design. These freaking wizards manage to make these creatures sound as big as they are, as far as they are in relation to the camera (which at some points are actually non existent and in a computer) and like they’re, y’know, ALIVE.
1:38 dammit now I feel bad for them.
The female even mourned for its children when they blew up.
"Let's kill monsters that feed on radiation with nuclear bombs!"
- said by no one, ever
It's not the radiation that kills things, it's the heat that rivals the surface of the sun and the shockwave that can level skyscrapers like nothing.
@@gojifankotm7927 I mean, in theory it sounds like it would work, however, Godzilla didn’t even get a scratch.
@@TheTrueUltimateGenLifeform it can work and godzilla has been defeated with less before
However he is almost inpenetrable and his regeneration is way too quick for the bomb to do anything
They never state how the oxygen destroyer works be it on the first godzilla or in king of monsters
However i think it only works because it does damage over a longer period of time them the nuclear bomb
That way it can destroy godzilla's armor and hurt him before he can regenerate
In the movie, they stated that it wouldn’t be the radiation but rather the shockwave and heat that would kill them
The music, the monsters, the cgi, the sound design, the action. It's phenomenal. Also, why is 1:34 adorable? That should not be cute but every time I see it I can't help but go , aww."

One thing I love about this movie more than the rest of the monsteverse is how they potray the size of these kaijus, In Godzilla Vs Kong the Hollow Earth made the kaijus like Kong feel small in the Hollow earth (Not necessarily a bad thing) but this movie made the monsters look huge and gave lots of human perspectives of the kaijus which is honestly amazing. Gareth Edwards did an amazing job on making the kaijus feel real, huge and animalistic.
I like how the male muto makes sure whoever was behind the smoke was her
Such a cool detail. The sound design of those mutos is good too
I like how all the camera angles in this film could be achieved by an actual person on the ground or in the air
I personally like this godzilla movie more than the new ones (king of the monsters and gidzilla vs kong). It's just more mysterious around some of these monsters, and the atmosphere is darker and scarier
Godzilla 2014 felt like a horror movie so fresh and good 😮
in my opinion, Godzilla 2014 is the the most scariest non-horror film by far. The sheer terrors of seeing a creature as big as skycrapers if not even bigger just ramming through everything give me goosebumps
male muto falling in water scene was soo good that it showed how giant muto really is , and just imagine that was just that male muto imagine size of female muto

The sound design in this movie is absolutely incredible, sends chills
The sound the male muto makes when the female takes the bomb from him sounds like a cartoony kiss noise
No doubt- the flying MUTO is the scariest monster. Godzilla is larger, but predictable in its locomotion and demeanor. This one is terrifying. That scene where it dives down, wings folded like an F14 Tomcat and then suddenly surfaces in a gigantic upheaval is one of the best moments in the movie.
This scene made me more into the muto’s because it makes you think they aren’t just the mindless brutes you think they are
Such an underrated kaiju
Every girl deserves a short king who will stop at nothing to bring her snacks.
Couple goals !
Every tall girl* (to be realistic).

1:52 Female muto is making a nest she’s gonna lay eggs
Thank you for explaining bro I was wondering what was happening
Your welcome
@user-vz3yi1im4jthey are sibling lmao
I'm pretty sure she is opening the bomb and feed on the radiation. They don't make nests, they leave their eggs inside of a host and feed on it
The way the light of the eyes moves as they click at each other. Eerie yet well done.
I love the roar at 1:33. It's amazing. Also the one the female makes after the clicking noise.
this is the best scene of all godzilla movie scenes, bcuz this actually shows their animal-like behavior, not just shooting beam and trying to kill each other nonsensely

The sound design in this is phenomenal
The Titans in this universe show much more emotion than the entire Lion King Remake.
