Great to see functional mods on this Road King Special. I have one and most people only do aesthetic mods or marginal engine upgrades. Since it looks great from the factory, the bling upgrades do nothing for me.

How is the day to day baseline experience of riding such a heavy bike for an ADV rider?

Harley’s especially the touring bikes are by scale weight very heavy. But on the road they feel great. I had more issues navigating the weight of the 1290 Super Adventure S more than the road king. Never felt like I was going to drop the RK in parking lots etc. def had a couple drops with the full size adv bikes
