I so enjoy watching your videos as you explain EVERYTHING about a wig that is important. Such a smooth introduction to Paula young’s wonderful UNDER estimated products. You make them look so wearable, so good-looking and we thank you for your thorough reviews!
Ohmygosh Liz thank you for your comments! I always hope that my videos are helpful as well as educational and your feedback really helps me know I’m on the right track! And thank you for watching my videos!! Blessings to you!! ❤️
Love seeing these videos you do with wigs in the color Silvery Moon. From your Grey Wigs reviews, I labeled the screen shots and recently bought my first Silvery Moon wig (Rosalie). She should arrive tomorrow. I would not have had the confidence to order that color without the information I got from your Grey Wigs review! Thanks so much.
You are very welcome, Katy and I am so happy to have been of some help! I hope she works out well for you! I haven't reviewed Rosalie yet and hope to do so! Just remember to work with her! Thanks so much for watching and sharing! Hugs & Happy Mother's Day!!! ~ Coco
I just ordered TWO Mason wigs! Auburn and Gray~ I do hope I love them. I have worn the Easton for quite awhile and was time for a replacement.... I took the chance and am giving Mason a try based off in part, your review! I love your channel best so far when it comes to wigs and Paula Young! :)
Hi Becca! I hope you enjoy your two Masons! It's a great wig and I love the 2 colors you got her in! I have her in Gray and I cut wispy bangs into her and she looks great! Thanks so much for being a wonderful part of my RUclips community!!! Hugs and blessings from Hillsboro, OR!!! - Coco
@cocoshairsolutions yes! Took a few days to adjust to them, but I love em! I tried to NOT cut bangs in them, but I just can't handle when the hair falls into my face. Guess it's time to admit and embrace I am a bangs girl. 🤪 🤣🥰
Thank you! My twin boys painted that before they moved out! Going gray is a big step! How do you plan on approaching it? Just letting it all grow out? Wearing a wig while you let it grow out? Dying your hair gray?
@@cocoshairsolutions Well I did try a couple styles my daughter didn’t like it my friends who are my age and a little younger didn’t like it they said why do you wanna look older than you are which is funny because my hair is almost white ! I have sparse fine hair balding on top and I’ve been wearing wigs for like 15 years now but I like Paula Young they nice wigs and so much cheaper than the other brands.
@@cocoshairsolutions You're most welcome I have only today discovered you're channel & I have been loving the content, tips & tricks & the education I've worn wigs for years & I've learned a few things I had no clue about from your videos. A truly great watch. Thankyou & blessings to you too 😁❤️
Thank you for reviewing this wig. What you are wearing doesn't look like the picture in the book because the bottom of your wig flips up instead of under and for myself that is crucial. Thank you for saving me money on a wig that wouldn't work.
The picture of Mason on the website was inaccurate then, as she has a full solid bang there. These videos are very helpful; thank you so much. Hi from Canada!
Hi Cecil! I’m so flattered that you would ask for this demo-I’d be happy to put one together! Give me a couple of weeks and stay tuned!!! Blessings to you! ❤️
How do I pic color? Hmmmmmm....If the wig is offered in a special, limited color, I'll always order that one to provide a review on that color for my viewers. If it happens to look good, I'll remember it and order it again for my own personal use. But I do have some personal fav colors like Silvery Moon, Caramelized Brown Rooted and Caramel Bourbon. So depending on the style of the wig, I might choose the silver over the brown, or the opposite. But I really love trying the new colors best. It's always a fun discovery!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing! Hugs & Happy Mother's Day!!! ~ Coco
Hi. I purchased this wig and love it. What do you wear under your wig. I have alopecia and can’t find a sufficient wig cap. This wig is beautiful, looks good but irritates my scalp. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Hi Gail! There are so many different products available for wearing under your wig to secure it. Everything from regular velvet wig grip bands to bamboo bands and caps, as well as silicone products. Depending on what you have tried I would at least try those top three kinds of products. I only use velvet grip bands but I have bio hair. I do have a client who does not have any hair and she uses a velvet wig grip band On her scalp and feels that it secures her wig adequately. But I also know several others who really like wearing the silicone with grip bands. You can find them on Amazon, and just about every wig supplier sells them. Since you bought Mason from Paul Young I might try their Deluxe Softouch Grip silicone band if you haven’t already. It has a gel liner on a 1” silicone band that is supposed to help make it a lot more comfortable. I’m sorry I don’t have any first-hand experience with that but that’s worth a shot. Another approach is to sew a softer velvet type piece of fabric on the inside of your wigs in critical places. Don’t give up! There’s a solution out there somewhere! I hope that some of these might be helpful for you. Thank you so much for watching and sharing. Let me know how it goes OK? Hugs!❤️❤️❤️
Hi Sandy, I’m enjoying your reviews which I only found out about a week ago so I’m catching up. Here is a question for you regarding color. You have said you prefer 51/60SF which is silvery moon. I’m looking to try a silvery color to blend with my bio hair so I can stop coloring it. Can you tell me what your thoughts are on 56 which is a blend of grey and 10% brown/black and why you prefer silvery moon? 56 appears lighter than silvery moon in the color chart I think.
Hi Sandra! Thank you for your comments! Yes the samples do make it look like 56 is lighter and I think on the hole it will appear to be close. The thing that I find is the biggest difference is that with SF51/60 you get a lot more variable color blend with lighter shades around the face and progressively darker colors as you get under the nape area. (It’s not pronounced, but it is there.) This gives me a little bit more of a more natural appearance. I also find that color 56 is warmer from the brown and does not have the whiter highlights that SF51/60 does. So that gives me the appearance of being a salon color rather than just a general blend of all of the gray & brown/black colored hair fibers. And the “SF” indicates that the color treatment is a “salon quality” color application, too. Does that make sense?
Boy, isn't that the way it always is? We all want something other than what we have! I wish I had fuller and rounder cheeks and a rounder forehead because I think all my angles make me look harsh and at times, like a skeleton!!! LOL!!! Oh well....make up can disguise some of it a little, but we're all stuck with what we've got, right? Here's to making the best of ANY situation!!! Cheers!!!! Thanks so much for watching, Lo, AND sharing!!!! Sending hugs your way!!! ~ Coco
@@cocoshairsolutions you have no fat on your face, its amazing. Like a models face. Bone Structure and angles are good. Better than "pudge". U look so great at your age. 😁
It looks very natural. I’m finding my PY wig fibre doesn’t last well compared to other brands. What tips and tricks do you have to make those fibres last. Every brand has a unique fibre with different treatment. Some take more heat, some love steam, some can’t take silicone because they gunk-up and do best with a spritz of demineralized water.
HiFrances! Yes I have found the same with PY fibers, unfortunately. What I usually do is 1) rotate wigs (don't wear the same wig 2 days in a row), spray with a conditioner on the ends after each wear and then i do find that they will tolerate steam pretty well. I usually go thru this cycle 2-3 times before i have to retire my wig. Good luck with your wigs'!!!❤️
@@cocoshairsolutions It's too bad, if the fibre doesn't last I won't be repurchasing or recommending to others. I wish I'd been warned before I bought so many of them. I like to help others with my recommendations and if I've given bad advice I don't feel good about that.
Hi Frances, None of us feel very good about making a recommendation for products that really don't stand up to what we expect. But please be reassured that it wasn't always like that. It seems that the quality of PY products have continued to decline over the past year or more, so it has caught us all in that same position of not really finding a consistent quality to the products we're used to buying. That just means that sometimes we get what we hope for and other times we don't. If the price point is such that we're willing to accept that gamble then it can still be a good deal. I wish it were better than that, though, as I am sure you do too. Thank you so much for watching my channel and being a part of my community on RUclips! Hugs! ~ Coco
Why are you so negative about a square jaw? I have a very square face and I like it. The oval face as the ideal dates back to Elizabeth Taylor in her prime… the 1950s. Be proud of your face shape; it’s lovely!
