Oh thank you! I do know that there has been quite a bit of variance in the quality of this particular wig, and I hope that if you do order it, that you don't experience that kind of problem. I'm finding that it's a risk we all take when ordering these less expensive wigs. Sometimes they're duds, and sometimes they're a home run. It's hard to take these kind of chances, but when they're good, it's worth it! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Hugs! ~ Coco 🤗
Hi Coco, You did a great tutorial on Cerese showing so many different ways to style her. I have her in the color Moonstruck which is lovely. I’m going to play with styling her more after your review. Thank you so much.🥰
I was excited about this style. I ordered two. One was poorly constructed with obvious missing rows of weft therefore leaving gaping holes where a row of wefting should have been. The other wig did not have these defects. In the past 6 months, I've ordered nine Paula Young brand wigs from the Paula Young website and only 4 have not had problems related to weft construction.
I'm so sorry to hear of your experience. But I too, have found that about 50% of the time, I receive a defective wig. It really has given me cause to reconsider my reviewing of their wigs. But when they do deliver a wig as it is shown and with decent coverage, it really hits the mark. I wish they would do something to remedy this, Thank you so much for watching and sharing! Hugs!!! ~ Coco
@@cocoshairsolutions I totally agree. I DON’T appreciate having to pay the return postage for a wig that is poorly made. I might have to try this one and that’s my color!
I just bought a cerise, my second one in the featured, moonstruck rooted, and the second one I just received, the bangs flip out and one side is flatter than the other, my first one was perfect out of the box, bought this one as a back up because who knows with this economy what’s going to happen. Don’t know if I should exchange for another one or try to use a hot air brush on it and bring the bangs over the forehead properly. Looks really stupid flipping right now and up. I have spent a lot of return, postage, exchanging wigs with Paula Young. Maybe I’ll return and exchange for the silver one in the video with the darker bottom.
@@judycook4314 I agree. I’ve had too many exchanges, trying to get a decently constructed one or properly styled from Paula Young. I’ll probably just start saving more money if I can, and purchase from Name Brand Wigs or the wig company.

Such a cute style and color on you! I need this one too! LOL I feel this could be very interchangeable with so many wavy styles. Youl could alternate this with others and no one would know you've change your style all that much - maybe you didn't curl it one day, and who would know!
I have this one in the Moonstruck with the dark roots like in the catalog. I get compliments every single time I wear her. She's a very easy and flattering style to wear. 🌻💛
I love that color and style on you today. Silvery Moon matches my hair perfectly. I still have not conquered fixing a long top, but maybe one day I will have magic fingers like yours. You have the "best" wig reviews. (Ingrid Acosta)

It looks great! And you always have so much fun trying them for us. Have you tried PY headband hair system? There are several color choices for the headband but limited hair color. The hair pieces are Versa-fiber and comes in 3 lengths/styles. They attache with Velcro and the headband can be worn separately. It looks good but I have only seen it in one catalog. I’m trying to decide if I want to try it but I would like more color choices.
Yes I have thought about it, but it's all on clearance now, and knowing they're discontinuing these products makes me hesitant to do a review on them because they won't be available much longer and I'd hate to encourage people to purchase them when they won't be available. I'm just finding out that many of the wigs I have already recorded reviews on and have them scheduled to appear in January have been placed in PY's discontinued/clearance section, and I'm really unhappy about this because most of them were new this fall and many viewers requested that I review these newer styles. Oh well....I'll keep trying!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
She's cute with the ability for some style variations too! I like her! The silvers look so amazing on you, but so does the caramelized brown. Fun to change it up isn't it :)
Thank you, Annie!!! Yes! I love wearing different colors without the fear of damaging my bio hair (as well as developing sores from the chemicals!!)!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗

And Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
I love this wig; you do a great job with it. I bought it because of this review. I was able to work with it, and the style I got was very similar to what I wore all through high school (late 50s-early 60’s), I really like it. The only problem I have is that the bottom layer of hair, at the nap is not thick enough, it’s very thin, and with my back to the light, you can see through it, it looks very straggly. Do you have any suggestions for that? Also, I would like to see you do a review of Paula Young’s ROSALIE if you would. I think I could work with that one, I would have to cut some bangs into her, but I think the length would be thicker. Thanx for the great reviews. (Oh, yeah ~ I always buy Silver Moon; just beautiful)
Ooohhhhh, not enough hair at the nape? That's a real hard problem to solve. Most of the time the solution would be to cut some of the longer pieces off, and that'll take care of the straggly-ness. But on hairstyles like this one, the style depends on the different layers to give it that "shag" look. Taking that away only makes it look like a long, curly pixie. I don't think this is a problem of the style, but it's a production/manufacturing problem--another one of those quality control issues that PY has continued to have. Which we can't control. I'm sorry I don't have much to suggest for this....:o( I put Rosalie on my list of future videos--thanks so much for the suggestion! And thanks for watching and sharing! ~ Coco
I love it. I’m ordering one in that color. It’s very hard to see the colors on their website. Wish they showed the heads but if I love it I’ll get another. Thanks for the review
I have her in light auburn. What a gorgeous color that is. I wish it was rooted though. There was so much permatease, I had to remove some and wear a wide headband to hide it. Fun sixties style ❤
That's a perfect way to disguise all that permatease! Have you seen my tutorial on how to add a root to your wig? It's so easy and looks SO NICE!!! You can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/FcB80-bKJHg/видео.html 🤗 And thanks so much for watching!!! Hugs, Coco 😊😊
@Coco'sHairSolutions 😍💓 Oh this wig is so cute, funky & fun! I love it! Love you can wear fun hair accessories with it! Love me some blingy/fun hair accessories! This is another one I was looking at on the website too! My favorite haircuts have always been layers and shaggy styles. I'm putting yhis one on the Wig Wishlist. ❤
The dark roots and cap help to disguise the wefts and cap on this girl. But if she didn't have this darkness, you would definitely see those items! That's why I always put a little root cover up on all my gray wigs. With the white caps (or light gray) and the lighter hair fibers, it makes is so easy to see that those areas are thin and don't cover quite as well. Thanks so much for watching and sharing!! Hugs and blessings to you! ~ Coco
You should! You might find that you have more than one girl hiding in one wig!!! ;o) Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco
Hi how are u feeling ? I love Cerese ! I love the funkiness of her ! She is a plop and go for me ! I have her in Pecan delight ! Happy new year Sandie 🎉❤Babs
Hi Barb! Doing better with every week--my voice is nearly back, but still have a little cough, but nothing like before!! The only thing now is that 2 wks before Christmas I broke one of my toes, and then I broke a finger the week of Christmas. Can you believe it!??? 2023 is definitely going to be better!!! 😀!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
Hi April! I have noticed some of these in different colors have more density than this one I reviewed. They remind me a little of Jaclyn Smith's Sunset. I hope you get the one that looks great on you!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing! Hugs and blessings to you! ~ Coco
Have you reviewed Editor's Pick by Raquel Welch? You do a great job! I don't have a wig but I have fine hair and it would be fun to have one to put on and go when I don't want to style my hair! Florida humidity in the ☀️ summer! I am looking for beachy waves shoulder or a few inches below. Do you think Paula Young wigs are just as good?
Hi Judy!!! No, I haven't reviewed RW Editor's Pick yet, but am looking forward to when I can! There are lots of beachy waves to pick from. Godiva's Secret Wigs has 3 sisters (Zara, Kayla and Dakota) who are all beachy waves in short, medium and longer lengths. I've done a review on Dakota and you'll find her in my videos and they are on the same level and RW as far as quality goes. PY is not on that same level in quality of cap construction, fibers and consistency of quality as RW/GSW. PY wigs are a great price point, but they will succumb to fiber wear/friction frizz much faster (2x or more) than RW/GSW. I can totally understand your desire to have a wig when you don't want to style you're own bio hair! People are surprised to see how much hair I do have, although I have scarring on the top of my head from brain tumor surgery. But Since letting my bio hair grow out to my natural salt & pepper, I absolutely love wearing wigs for the convenience and never have to worry about coloring, teasing, curling, styling and struggling with my baby-fine, thin hair! We vacationed in Florida last year and loved having my wigs for whatever style, function, or weather conditions were present!!! And even in the little bit of humidity, I still didn't have to worry about my hair! So, I would encourage you to "jump in--the water's great!!!" And with wigs like RW Editor's Pick--ohmygosh--You'll always look like a million bucks!!! Thank you so much for watching my videos and for sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
@@judykirchner5032 Love and Blessings to you 😀!!! And thanks so much for watching my videos and being a wonderful part of my RUclips family!!! Hugs & Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗❤
I love this look and love your reviews and love Paula Young’s price point. That being said, every time l receive a catalog l get so excited, but when l go through and mark all of my favorites (Cerese being one) not one of them is a petite. My head circumference is barely 20” and l absolutely swim in average, even when l make it as tight as it will allow. By the end of my new catalog search l go from excitement to disappointment. This happens every single time, yet I’m still holding out hope. I speak on behalf of all petite people. We are neglected. Btw I absolutely dislike pixies and most of Paula Young petites are pixies…we are basically forced to spend more money on other websites. I find it so unfair.
You bring up a very valid point, and I never thought of it as most of the petites are in pixies, but I think you are right on the money!!! I would contact PY Customer Service (act like you're placing an order) and let them know about this. They may not realize their own mistake here!!! I know you're just one voice, but you never know the impact you might have! 😀!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
This is perfection on you! How are the wefts? The Londyn I got was great! Maybe they are doing better overall. I Ike that the root is not such a contrast too!
Hi Chris!!! I thought that this girl had decent weft coverage, so that's good news about this girl! So glad to hear that your Londyn turned out great, too! Let's keep our fingers crossed that they are improving their quality control😀!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
Hi Paula! I have been tempted to try Sybil, but haven't yet. I just looked at her and compared her measurements to Rowan and they're practically identical--and III LOVE Rowan--So I bet I'd love Sybil!!! I'm going to break down and get her, but I know I'd be adding roots too that girl! The photo looks very shiny--is she? Thanks so much for watching and sharing!! Hugs! ~ Coco
Out of all my wigs and styles, Cerise (in dark brown 4) is the only one that looks so wiggy on me that I will not wear it. I've tried a headband and/or clips, and it helps some, but the permatease in my Cerise is absolutely nuts. I'd give it a 3 out of 10.
Oh dear--I'm so sorry this has happened to you! Sometimes these wigs come to us and they're so different from what others have received (or even us with prior purchases!). I just hope that you were able to get her on a good sale! 😊 Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Hugs, Coco
Have a question... my go to style is phoebe in 8/12. I’m needing to go gray but don’t know how to do it without being super obvious. Do u have any recommendations?
Hi Eva! The way I did it was to begin wearing wigs that were close to the style and color that I was used to wearing while I let my bio hair just grow out without coloring it. This way I kept from continuing to damage my hair and let all of my natural gray grow out and I could see what it would really look like. As I began to wear wigs regularly, I would experiment with color and style, sometimes going a little lighter and then sometimes going a little darker. I did this until all my hair grew out, getting it trimmed every couple of months to get rid of the grow out. People never knew I had gray hair, and now when I wear gray toppers with my own bio hair, people can’t believe that it’s really my hair! And I think it’s been 40 years since it’s been this healthy! But I mostly wear wigs because I got so used to wearing them and I don’t have to mess with my hair. You might want to do a search on RUclips to see if there are other ways to let your hair grow out. Thanks so much for watching and sharing! Hugs, Coco
@@cocoshairsolutions Thanks for your insight. Unfortunately, you can take all the natural hair on my head, stick it in your belly button and still have room for your thumb. Alopecia has plagued me since my teens. Ugh...but it is what it is.
Hi Eva! I apologize if I misunderstood your question. I had no idea that you were challenged by alopecia. Going gray? You meant going gray in your wig styles and I did not address that. I would just begin by wearing wigs slightly lighter than the color that you’re currently wearing. Keep the same hairstyle if possible and just go lighter. There are so many colors available these days that have highlights and Frosted tips and beautiful colors that can transition you from a brunette, which I was, too, frosty, silvery white. But you’ll probably want to take it slow and give yourself permission to go bounce back to your old color again. It takes a while to make that transition. Once people get used to seeing you in the lighter shades, and even combinations of gray and blondes or mocha colors, nobody will even notice! And you might be surprised how much you will enjoy having those new colors in your life! I hope this was a better answer to your question. Thank you so much for your patience. Hugs, Coco
Question - it says here that the wig you started out wearing is Encore by Jaclyn Smith. I looked up Encore and it’s way longer than the wig you are wearing. Did you have it cut or did you give the wrong style? Please let me know as I think it’s the wig I want to get.
Yes, what I'm wearing is Encore by Jaclyn Smith and she's exactly as I got her--straight out of the box. I did a review on her here: ruclips.net/video/KmPlxdFNJ4k/видео.html and you can see she's just as you see her in the Cerese review, too. I was surprised, just as I was surprised at JS's Bridgette, too. They both look different in person than on the website/catalog. But I like them both the way they come! Good luck with her!!! She's beautiful!!! And thanks so much for watching and sharing!! Hugs! ~ Coco
I was hoping you would review this one. I have had her in and out of my cart several times. It would be great to see her also in a non-gray color. Hugs from Cookie!

I would contact them through their website or their phone # listed there. See if they might mail one to you!!! 😀!!! And thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
Was it a lighter colored wig? That's very common with gray/white wigs from PY. Not enough fibers/density to cover those wefts. Thanks so much for watching!!! Hugs, Coco 😀
I used a Hot Tools 1" hot air brush and you can find it here: 1.5" Hot Air Brush: amzn.to/3EJxuxJ There is no temp adjuster on it, but it goes to less than 300 degrees, which is the right temperature to use on any synthetic wig! Thanks soo much for watching!!! Have a great week! ~ Coco
I stopped buying her eigs all together for same reasons stated here. Thick on 1 side, thin on the other. Flip under when supposed to flip out. Thin wefts , or missing all together. Too costly to return defective wigs, time consuming. Looking for other sites that may offer better quality wigs.
Hi Janet & Robin--You are both right about the struggles we all have with PY wigs. It has cost me a fortune sending back wigs that I can't (and won't) do reviews on because they are so bad. And then if you've watched all the wigs I have done videos on, you'll potentially see problems with these as well. But there are some times people hit the jackpot and my only wish would be that they had tighter control of their quality control to make the good outcomes more the norm than not. Thank you so much for watching and sharing!! Hugs, Coco 😊 🤗
@cocoshairsolutions thanks for re assuring us we are not crazy about the loss of quality of Paula young wigs. Their costs, shipping & that $1.95 fee is ridiculous. Refunds are slow too. I just won't buy from her again. But LOVE your videos on many other brands too. Outstanding job you do to show different ways to wear them, add accessories & give hints of other things to try. Thanks again 😊

You can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/FcB80-bKJHg/видео.html
🤗 And thanks so much for watching!!! Hugs, Coco 😊😊
Looks very natural and she looks nice on you👌
Thank you! And Thanks so much for watching and sharing! Hugs & Happy Mother's Day!!! ~ Coco
Greetings Coco! Oh I really like her!! But then, I am a shagaholic! Yes, yes, yes!! She looks great on you too! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
I think it looks good right out of the box. I just bought her, have had her on once. Need to play, but I think she's just right for go to.
So glad to hear she's working out for you!!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Hugs! ~ Coco 🤗!
Thank you so much 🤗 And thank you so much for watching and sharing! Have a great weekend!! Hugs, Coco 🤗 😊
@@cocoshairsolutions You're welcome 🤗 Thank you so much! Hope you have a blessed week. God Bless You. ✌️😘❌⭕💞
This is a very cute one can you see the cap on this wig?
The dark roots and cap help to disguise the wefts and cap on this girl. But if she didn't have this darkness, you would definitely see those items! That's why I always put a little root cover up on all my gray wigs. With the white caps (or light gray) and the lighter hair fibers, it makes is so easy to see that those areas are thin and don't cover quite as well. Thanks so much for watching and sharing!! Hugs and blessings to you! ~ Coco
I bought this in soft pewter and she is beautiful.
Awesome!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Hugs, Coco 🤗
Very cute, you really enjoy messing around with these girls..makes me want to try something new 😊❤
You should! You might find that you have more than one girl hiding in one wig!!! ;o) Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco
That looks great on you
Hi how are u feeling ? I love Cerese ! I love the funkiness of her ! She is a plop and go for me ! I have her in Pecan delight ! Happy new year Sandie 🎉❤Babs
Hi Barb! Doing better with every week--my voice is nearly back, but still have a little cough, but nothing like before!! The only thing now is that 2 wks before Christmas I broke one of my toes, and then I broke a finger the week of Christmas. Can you believe it!??? 2023 is definitely going to be better!!! 😀!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
I’m going to try this one
~ Coco 🤗
Thank you for your advice! You do a great job showing the wigs and were so sweet to answer my questions!
Happy New Year!
I am glad you are doing well after your surgery!
~ Coco 🤗
She looks beautiful on you !
Thank you so much, Elaine 😀!!! And Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
You look great with or without wigs.
behind the ear is good, i'm also looking for around the house to store wig, everyday
Great idea! She would really be a great wig for that! Thanks for watching! ~ Coco
This is perfection on you! How are the wefts? The Londyn I got was great! Maybe they are doing better overall. I
Ike that the root is not such a contrast too!
Hi Chris!!! I thought that this girl had decent weft coverage, so that's good news about this girl! So glad to hear that your Londyn turned out great, too! Let's keep our fingers crossed that they are improving their quality control😀!!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
I love her.
You are not alone!!! Have you gotten her yet? And thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Hugs, Coco
@@cocoshairsolutions I do have her. She is my favorite!
Do you have Sybil? She looks similar but at 1/2 the price, really pretty cut and color!
Hugs! ~ Coco
@@cocoshairsolutions i just got her today, no, perfect and comfortable, can style many ways, I will try to change my avatar
Hugs, Coco
making me wanna try her
You just might have to!!! :o)
Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Hugs, Coco
I like it!
Love the back!
I did a review on her here: ruclips.net/video/KmPlxdFNJ4k/видео.html
and you can see she's just as you see her in the Cerese review, too. I was surprised, just as I was surprised at JS's Bridgette, too. They both look different in person than on the website/catalog. But I like them both the way they come! Good luck with her!!! She's beautiful!!! And thanks so much for watching and sharing!! Hugs! ~ Coco
10 stars
I was hoping you would review this one. I have had her in and out of my cart several times. It would be great to see her also in a non-gray color. Hugs from Cookie!
Great suggestion! What color family are you thinking? Hugs back atcha, Cookie!!! 😀!!! And Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
Beautiful....love your cutest.
Thank you! 🤗
How do I get a Paula Young catalogue? I'm in the UK 💖
I would contact them through their website or their phone # listed there. See if they might mail one to you!!! 😀!!! And thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Happy New Year!!! ~ Coco 🤗
I had that wig and i could see wefts near the top
Was it a lighter colored wig? That's very common with gray/white wigs from PY. Not enough fibers/density to cover those wefts. Thanks so much for watching!!! Hugs, Coco 😀
What tool did you use on your bangs and what temp?
I used a Hot Tools 1" hot air brush and you can find it here:
1.5" Hot Air Brush: amzn.to/3EJxuxJ
There is no temp adjuster on it, but it goes to less than 300 degrees, which is the right temperature to use on any synthetic wig!
Thanks soo much for watching!!! Have a great week! ~ Coco
@@cocoshairsolutions Thank you for your answer and the link!
pretty cute for the price
I think so too! Hugs, Coco
how are the fibers, can use heat?
The fibers feel much like all other PY wig fibers and they ARE NOT heat-friendly. I hope this helps! Hugs, Coco
@@cocoshairsolutions thank you, yes helps knowing not heat friendly
You would look good with a bag on your head, you are so pretty.
Lol!!! Then I REALLY need a lot of makeup!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!! Hugs and blessings to you!!❤️❤️❤️
I stopped buying her eigs all together for same reasons stated here. Thick on 1 side, thin on the other. Flip under when supposed to flip out. Thin wefts , or missing all together. Too costly to return defective wigs, time consuming. Looking for other sites that may offer better quality wigs.
When I bought her I noticed the same.
Its cute but to me, nothing like the photo
It's surprising how many wigs do not look much like their photos, isn't it? Thanks so much for watching and sharing! Hugs! ~ Coco
I wish u would not put wigsbehind your ears. U can't see what it really looks like when u do that. I never tuck a wig behind my ears and can't get any idea what it really looks like when u do that.
I do try to show each wig in both ways so that people who like it either way will have the chance to see what it looks like. I will pay more mind to who much time I spend in each look. Thank you for the feedback. And thanks so much for watching and sharing! Hugs, Coco
