You know, Jennifer, I have put this girl on after this review and I couldn't get her to look the way I did in the video--so what's with that? I waited another day, tried it again, and voila! She was back to looking like my video!!! I have found that sometimes this does happen, and I need to give them another chance. Don't really know why, but I think you'll find many wig wearers find the same thing happening, too! Phoebe is one of my favorites. She's my gateway to shorter styles. I used to only wear the longer styles, like Gayle. Now I'm comfortable wearing Ryan and even Casey. The way it wears on me, it covers the nape of my neck, but doesn't make my neck feel hot. I like it so much, when I caught it on sale, I bought it in different colors.
She is really a very cute style and like you said, she covers your neck without being hot! Great idea about getting her in different colors! What colors did you get? @@cocoshairsolutions Phoebe is one of the few styles available in 6 (dark chocolate brown) which is one of my favorite colors because it has a subtle bit of red, not obvious, but enough to give it dimension, especially in natural sunlight. I also got 812A (pecan delight) and 8 (medium golden brown, which was the first color I got. I'm half Korean so the darker brunette shades look the most natural on me. I haven't quite worked up the courage yet to step out of my comfort zone on the colors yet. I think it would be fun though to go blonde or ginger someday.
Hi! This wig reminds me of my early 80's hair! But I like it for versatility and the way it looks so good with accessories. Also it comes in so many colors. I bet it would be nice for outside in the summer, in the wind. Thanks so much for the review! You look really cute in Phoebe!
I tried Phoebe last year, but the one I got looked like she was two different styles mashed together! I was just starting with wigs and I didn't know what color to get and I ordered it way too light. I sent her back. You made her look much better!
It wouldn't be out of the realm of normal for you to order her again in another color, just to see if she looks better (it would make me feel much better because I do that kind of thing all the time--LOL!) Sometimes we can't help what they send us and we can't do anything BUT send her back!! Did the one I get look the way she was supposed to? I really don't know! I have the Phoebe in 33 Dark Auburn, absolutely gorgeous color and after receiving the wig 33 is now my favorite PY color. Really wish it came in more styles.

Well that my haircut but I don’t have that volume and my hairdresser keeps cutting the top to short. She’s new and o have to train her. Also that bump in the front, my bio hair does that in the same place. Drives me insane. I wish I had more hair to hide it. I just spray it and pray. 😂 . Thanks for sharing!

Hi April! I use the brush on root cover-up all the time instead of the spray. It applies neater and stays pretty well. The brand I like best is the Bell Ame on Amazon. I just watched your video again and heard you talking about signing up for text msg on PY and getting a 6 digit code for discounts. Could you explain it a little more? I've never heard of it and I've been buying PY wigs for years.
Yes! I am not sure which method ensures that you’ll be on their text messaging list, but I went to their website and registered for an account at Paula Young. I have a login username and password that I created and my account has my phone number in it as well. Nearly every month and sometimes as many as six times a month I will receive a text message from Paula Young and they are promoting some kind of sale. Just like two days ago I received a text telling me about their 30% off site wide sale with the code 904076 which ends today, but these kinds of sales occur frequently and I usually find out about it because of my text messaging. I would think you could call their customer service number and ask them how to register for these messages but I truly think that it’s attached to my account. At any one time they may have as many as three different campaigns going on with three different discount codes you can choose which ever code you want to use as long as you know the numbers. And of course, every catalog that you receive in the mail has a different code and expiration date on it as well. I hope this helps!~Coco

Like many PY wigs I love the style but they make no effort with their reds. I'm auburn with beautiful highlights have been for years, people tell me all the time how gorgeous my hair is ,( wigs) are. I really would love to order ftom Paula Young but don't want to settle. Love their prices wish they loved us red heads.

Looks nothing like the photo. I would cut the top shorter.
