I have just started using Procreate, and I am so glad that I discovered your channel. Thanks for sharing your knowledge as well as brushes and palettes!

Hello, Haze. I like your videos very much, they are very explanatory and have helped me a lot. I really want to improve the border issue, I mean in relation to Sketch. Could you make a video explaining the best way to do this?
you are my favorite youtuber and just full of talent! Your videos helped me improve my art big time! Thank you so much for spending your precious time to make these amazing videos... you deserve more than millions of followers!!
Thank you very much, I learned quite a lot from you! You are my teacher, can I ask if you recommend some books to know systematics about Color? What art books do you like to read?
I studied a lot of books on color previously and it’s surprising that there is so little content for intermediate color knowledge. You can read into the munsell system. And I also compiled my knowledge about color into a book before. You can download it from my Dropbox here. www.dropbox.com/s/ef3ul0mh16u63s5/colorpractice.pdf?dl=0 let me know once you see this I’ll delete the link.

I’m exploring procreate (not the best tho) whenever i try finding videos for tips i never learn anything new but this video has improved my skills a lot, i thought the palettes were going to be for money so i just want to say thank you for making the palettes free. I really wish i could donate but i’m broke~! Welp Thank you again bye bye
Hi haze!! I just happened your watch first video today in you tube and I can’t stop myself. Your explanation are great and I love to learn more and more from you. So I happened to visit your link for skin tone colour palette and was not able to download it. I use my iPad and unfortunately I don’t have laptop right now. Pls help to get these downloads pls
If you use tones close to each other or the soft brush, you won't need to blend. Blending create streaks and can cause a painting to look over blended.
Sophie Mulders Turning on alpha lock locks your layer, and is one of the most important and helpful tools in Procreate. For example, say I paint the outline of a face and filled it with whatever color I choose. I want to start shading, but I don’t want to ruin my already prepared base color, and don’t want my shadows/highlights escaping beyond the edges of my face shape. Turning on alpha lock (using two fingers and sliding right on my desired layer) locks that layer in place, allowing me to edit it with please without coloring outside of the overall silhouette of the layer. I’m sorry if this explanation is confusing, my twelve year old self can’t explain things very well. 😊 If you have any other questions on the basic settings of procreate, you can talk to me if you’d like, and I’ll try my best to answer your questions.
You are amazing! Thank you for this tutorial and your color palettes! I love the entire tutorial so much but my absolute favorite part is when you say, “there is nothing worse than spending hours on a painting and it looks like shit”!!! You’ve earned a new loyal subscriber!!

How do you keep the colours uniform when you use the painting brush? Do you press hard on the screen or have the setting set to normal instead of glazed? I find mine very light and not uniform. Some light and some darker when some areas are passed by the brush 2x or more. Thanks.
Oo ok. 1. check your brush opacity. The slider below brush size on the left. If using your finger is also light then ‘it’s be brush opacity. 2. If using ur finger is stable opacity then Check your pen pressure setting.
@@HazeLong Should the opacity be at max? I turned it up and using the finger is stable now. What should the pen pressure be? I'm new to Procreate. Thanks for your help.
You won’t be able to mess it if you just use the saturation brush. You just have to go back to hue/saturation/color and reduce the saturation to zero to get back your grayscale. That or you can duplicate the lauer
