    You are a God sent for aspiring artist. RUclips is full of speed paintings/time laps videos with the title "tutorial" but they generalize every tip and hide all their methods used to achieve things..
    You on the other hand... You deserve more Subs and views for all these free detailed information. Everyone else is selling brush packs and you just give everything away for free.. Thats kind of unheard of.. Thank you Sensei.... We appreciate you...

    I can’t believe people have complained about the black and white. It teaches people So much about shading. As a newbie to digital art your videos have helped me Tremendously. Real-time art takes time and process and isn’t always riveting. Keep doing what you’re doing as you’re helping so many people! Whenever you post a new video I make myself a coffee, cozy up and sometimes try and follow along. Thank you so much for what you do and posting your brushes and palettes!

      I agree. who doesn't want a button, hit it and the painting gets done magically. Beginners still gotta slave for hours to get the same result. One day when they have mastered the skill, maybe the button will come to them.

    I cannot tell you the difference in my understanding now of grey scale. Your demonstration examples are such great visual aids. Practicing growing from grey to color have been very helpful. In my learning process. I will probably continue working this way for a very long time. I would rather take my time and be accurate then just through down some colors! Thank you for being you. • @HazeLong

      If you use tones close to each other or the soft brush, you won't need to blend. Blending create streaks and can cause a painting to look over blended.

    @sophiemulders 5 лет назад +1

    At 34.01 you say dont forget to turn on the alpha. What does this mean? I’m new to this. I have trouble to find on which layer you are painting.

    • @nicoleliang6876
      @nicoleliang6876 5 лет назад +1

      Sophie Mulders Turning on alpha lock locks your layer, and is one of the most important and helpful tools in Procreate. For example, say I paint the outline of a face and filled it with whatever color I choose. I want to start shading, but I don’t want to ruin my already prepared base color, and don’t want my shadows/highlights escaping beyond the edges of my face shape. Turning on alpha lock (using two fingers and sliding right on my desired layer) locks that layer in place, allowing me to edit it with please without coloring outside of the overall silhouette of the layer. I’m sorry if this explanation is confusing, my twelve year old self can’t explain things very well. 😊 If you have any other questions on the basic settings of procreate, you can talk to me if you’d like, and I’ll try my best to answer your questions.

      Naomi Doughty so for example if you painted a circle. If u turn the alpha on, then if u continue painting u can only paint within your circle. Turn it off n u will be able to paint everywhere again.

    I've spent 45 minutes trying to share the pallette I bought with my Procreate app. I give up.

      Just pull up 2 windows. Procreate and the files app side by side. Then open a project in procreate and drag the palette from the files app into the procreate project window. 😉
