- WATCH IN HD! Campaign maps are always a treat in SWBF2, there are tons of mods and maps out there but very few every include an engaging and fun campaign mode alongside them. Even rarer is an entire map pack complete of such maps, with only the likes of Dark Times II and the Aldura Campaign attempting such a feature. What Lorul1 brings us here today is an incredible entry into that category. This is the BRAND NEW Battles of the Storm map pack by Lorul1 which offers 5 all-new Campaign maps telling the story of his fanon Clone legion, the Storm Squadron 70. Not only does the map pack offer 5 all new maps, it also adds tons of new features including new units for both CIS and Republic including new playable Jedi, pilot vehicles during ground battles, first person vehicle cockpits, multi-storey buildings which make use of a fantastically innovative elevator system, some brilliant scheduled animations and flybys during battle and finally, moving and fully destructible capital ships in space battles. Wow, that's a lot of content. The gameplay also features the popular over-the-shoulder viewpoint as seen in the Clone Wars Era Mod BETA.
This is the second map in the pack, Kashyyyk: The Storm which which is set immediately after the first map in the pack. After the victory on Geonosis, the troopers of Storm Squadron 70 have been dispatched to form a blockade over Kashyyyk to defend it from the incoming Separatist fleet. When playing as the Republic, you will receive objectives from Squad Intelligence to fulfill the mission and destroy the CIS' capital ships to prevent a successful invasion of the Wookiee homeworld. The map is fairly large for a space battle and supports the mod's star feature: moving and fully destructible capital ships! Just like the other maps in the pack, the map also has some impressively scripted animations such as the hyperspace jump at the beginning of the battle.
The interior of the capital ships has been expanded on and features hangars, engine and Comms rooms as well as a command bridge. The ships are composed of several floors linked by elevators that teleport the player to the next floor in a seamless transition just like in the previous map.
Both CIS and Republic sides have been revamped, the Republic are now complete with new skins and units forming up Storm Squadron 70. New units include revamped Clone Marines, Clone Acolytes, Captain Sourapple 70 and Clone Commander Lorul. The Commander is armed with new weapons including the Thermal Rifle 2.1 and DC-15S Republic Commando Pistol. The CIS also features new units including B2-RP Super Battle Droids complete with jump packs as seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
All in all, this is a fantastic map pack and features some ground-breaking new features that warrant a download alone. Go ahead and check it out now!

Omg this is incredible, and it sadness you when you think about how much u won't be able to do in the new battlefront.
I love that you can enter the core ship. It always seemed like an easier target to land in and destroy from within if only you can get past the 100,000 or so battle droids housed within.

This is such an amazing modpack; gave it a download after watching the first few minutes. The only annoying thing is finding the actual objectives on some of the maps..
Do you have it on steam if you do can you help me by telling me what to do..I put it on my addon folder and extracted it..yet no result..
+Nelson Brito I actually use wine to play BF2 on my mac, but I think the basics are still the same: What I do is that I extract it first to my desktop. The file extracted should be a name consisting of 3 letters. Make sure your addon folder is in Steamapps > Common > Battlefront II > GameData. Check the extracted files to see if they contain any important "Read me" stuff for further instructions before adding them into the addon folder. Then, Launch the game, head over to instant action, and choose the new maps.

I have been looking EVERYWHERE for the sound effects on those republic fighter missiles, originally they were the sound for the droid tri-fighter missiles but I see whoever designed the mod enjoyed it as much as I did.
Per chance, do you know where I might be able to find a sound file of that missile effect?

If they had a map like this but it was conquest with command posts between two expanded interior capital ships I would download soooo fast.
How did you install this one? I can't seem to figure out where to put the files and I'm wondering if the mod pack i have now is interfering (battlefront extreme 4.4)
I have a problem with installing this. When I install this pack all the other maps show up except the one in this video. I reinstalled multiple times but it still didn't appear, did I do something wrong?
Is there any way to get the map and use your own custom units on it? Like only by exporting the map file not units will it still work?

This campaign map was so confusing, it took me five minutes to figure out how to get out of that first room. Then came capturing command posts which I could not even get to so I ended up taking my own life but that seemed to work. Usually suicide is never the answer, but for Battlefront 2 it surely is reasonable for this map.
Haha, it was a little bit difficult to navigate especially on the lower levels of the capital ships but aside from that it was a fantastic experience. I agree with you though, respawning would probably be even easier to capture those command posts.
The one map/gamemode that would be the most amazing would be a Team Fortress 2 style mode, complete with maps, TF2 characters, sounds, and more!
What would even be cooler would be a Mann vs. Machine gamemode! Complete the robot waves with variations, robots walking/running sounds, tanks, SENTRY BUSTERS, and giant scouts, pyros, heavys, and soldiers XD
So...many...SPACESHIPS!!!!!

Kamino: Storage Base would be the map for you, it has a mission that gives the Battle of Kamino from the CIS perspective.

The coding and mechanisms of these maps are excellent, although I do wish the graphics are a little bit more polished.

There are mods and maps that pushed the graphics to a whole new level. Some of which even looks 2010.

Battlefront extreme doesn't make this game look anything near 2010. I mean the game would have to look like the force unleashed 2 if that was the case
I downloaded this on steam the game and I did the add on folder and did the steps but nothing..any help please?
What I did was I downloaded the mod and moved it to my addon folder I extracted it so unzipped it and I copy and pasted all the maps from the DATA and pasted it to the add on is there something I did wrong?
