I have to say that your videos are very well done with showing great close ups where we can see stuff. My brothers and I learn so much from watching your videos. You deserve to have half a million or more subscribers by now. Keep taping and we love to keep watching.
I was cautiously optimistic when changing pads & rotors on my '12 Q5 but the motor spun great using the car's battery & wires with alligator clips. Thank you once again:-)
It would be cool if you could show how to replace the brake rotor on the rear passenger side. Removing the caliper bracket on that side is a real pain because one bolt is inaccessible for a socket or wrench. But I don't think you have to remove the stubborn bolt, you can hit the caliper bracket up out of the way enough to get the rotor off. Anyway, would be a helpful video. I may make one for that if you do not. :) You have been on fire pumping out the videos lately! Great job!
Both looked easy but mine likely had never been off before and were really seized. I’d still be interested in seeing how you do it but I just made a generic video on removing stuck seized super tight caliper bridge bolts inside the fender well
Yeah I have VCDS, Autel MX808 which will open and close the EBP.. I am very happy to see that the power probe was able to open op the piston to fully retract it.. awesome video Nap.. I notice you’re not using any PB blaster or your secret special sauce of MMO to help break loose bolts.. damm Thor must have installed those bracket bolts.. I’m not sure what people are talking about in terms of these bolts being accessible? Both the upper and lower bracket bolts are totally accessible on the B8’s what I do for the lower in come in from the under side with my 1/2 impact and 18mm short impact socket on and extension I go though the spring with the extension and zip it out.. top is super easy if you have flex head ratchet so you can get a pipe on it outside of the wheelwell.. after install you should replace these since they are technically TTY bolts but the rears are not a big deal to reuse.. I add blue loctite.. I agree I love all your cranking out of videos.. definitely my go to source of inspiration and knowledge.. 👍🏻
Hello! I have an intermittent error in the parking brake system. When I try to put the parking brake on (when the error is in the dash), it blinks and the brake does not seems to engaged. I just turn off the car and turn it back on, and the error is gone. Do you have any experience with this error or possible causes? Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the video, I was stuck on retracting the electric brake and your video helped me to get the job done.

I just did push the piston all the way out as You said, any advice ?
Was the parking brake on when you are rewinding motor?

Ahahaha thank you for this video you do all the experimenting that we are scared to do
So couldnt you just release the parking break from inside the car and then just do the break job as normal? Asking b/c my Q5 has the same system.
Releasing the parking brake doesn’t spin back the adjuster inside the caliper, that needs done with a scan tool typically or how I did it here
I have a code on my car that I can't figure out c10c2f2 function restriction due to excessive brake temperature
Lmao!! Accident he says! Epa Oh No
Dang! You ruined the walnut cracker.
