im extremely sure this can be brought down atleast 10 seconds E1: i found another optimization, in level 8 aka maze 1 you can slow down mid air on the first fall (2 blocks wide) instead of hugging the wall so you dont have to accelerate back to full speed from 0

My initial instinct would be no, because of A. how difficult the final 200ish rooms are, and B. It’d take over an hour just to get a chance at it, and hundreds of those rooms aren’t trivial either. I truly hope to be proven wrong in a couple years, but a map of this difficulty and length, without any way for fixed set ups for the majority of the difficult rooms, I just can’t see it. If someone does get consistent enough to beat all of this consecutively, then I’m scared for what the top 1s of the future are gonna look like lmao
Cut off time. At 2:10 you can hit the 2nd Dash Orb (the one straight to the end of level 96) then use the 1st orb then the 2nd orb. At 5:11, 5:39, 5:52, 6:05, 6:21, 6:36 you can go up avoiding the pads, then flip gravity and touch the pads which one was faster than the Tas? Tip for Invis : Die at the start, you'll get a quick look on what's over there NAH I AIN'T WATCHING ALL THAT
@@idonothavealifeit does work. You flip the gravity and get on top of the passable block with gravity inverted, and while standing at the block, you flip your gravity and use the nearby pad so it lets you through
I took 11 hours… I remember every single room personally. This level caused me pain, suffering, and gave me life long trauma. It did unironically make me better at platformers tho
Good TAS. Though I feel like a couple minutes can be shaved off. Level 3 was already slower than my level 3 because you can jump to get down the fall sooner. Micro optimizations over 2000 levels can save so much time.
i watched the first and last 5 minutes of the video. i know the level only uses this song but like... couldn't you have some other songs playing in the background sometimes?? like, i want to maintain my sanity for as long as possible watching this XD
There are still some optimizations I could do, including some with that yeah, I did do that later on the tas but I forgot to do it for the first levels iirc
I'm curious how long does it took in "Fury of 500" with TAS. The room in that level is much bigger and harder than in "How to Platformer", I guess it probably took about 20+ minutes.
