    im extremely glad that finally someone shows that is okay to eat this when you are recovering. i have struggling with anorexia since summer and almost everyone on social media is eating only healthy food in a small amount and then I feel embarrassed and disgusted how much food i ate and that i should eat less and healthier and im back at the beggining but your video helped me so so much,thank you xx

    I went all in almost exactly a year ago and it was the best decision I ever made!! It was scary at first Bc like u said I was eating thousands and thousands of calories a day but I put full trust in my body and kept going no matter what. I don’t have extreme hunger anymore, my hunger cues are pretty normal, and I have the best relationship with food now. My best piece of advice is patience and consistency, you’re doing amazing!!

    I have a difficult relationship with food and found this channel when I was looking for what I eat in a day videos for meal ideas. But my god I didn't know how many extreme restrictive diet videos were on RUclips before! Recovery videos are truly outnumbered which is so risky for people looking to find healthy inspiration. You are truly doing a very good thing just by showing your positive journey and fighting for your health. So proud of your resolve. The ugly thing I see almost nobody talking about is the bloat. Ugh. Like okay I can deal with the guilt and the terrifying thought of gaining weight,
    BUT THE BLOAT MAKES IT SO MUCH WORSE AHHHH I look pregnant!!! It would be so much easier without ugh. But I’m doing so good I’m so proud of myself! Yesterday I had NON DIET ice cream, and wanna know something?

      I don't think it's right to write this. Don't want to be rude, but you should think before you do something, so nobody literally asked. She still struggles and it may be very triggering... She is recovering and health is more important than money and by the way this money are spent for the best reason. And this also applies to you. I understand that you may be hard up with money and can't afford to buy a lot, maybe you need to save money because you have a lot of other essential, basic things to buy. But if you could afford even these doubled grocery - go for it. It's not wasting money, but investing it in your recovery, body, health.

    • @tplatia
      @tplatia 3 года назад +4

      @@zuzanna647 Oh. I thought this was an open forum for being honest, in order to support and encourage each other. It's not always possible to to be positive about things that happen in real life. I was merely adding my experiences to the comments. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to recover and I was just hoping somebody might have an alternative way to look at my situation. Obviously, I'm struggling too, but it's good to see someone progressing like her. Not meant to tear anyone down at all. Just mentioning the privilege.

    • @sophiazion1113
      @sophiazion1113 3 года назад +5

      @@tplatia oh my gosh do not listen to that person you are not being rude at all !!! i understand why something like this could be triggering but you stated that you can’t go all in based on monetary reasons and not restrictive reasons, so i think it’s completely different and you have every right to share your experience !! it sucks but it’s realistic n not everyone has means to spend that much money on food so i’m really sorry that your external situation is limiting your mental acceptance to recover :( i would just suggest going for cheaper alternatives or getting ingredients for things so you can still honor your cravings at home at hopefully not break the bank too much ! but still understandable if this is not possible
      :-( please don’t give up though and use this as an excuse to fall back into a harmful mindset (nothing against you, it’s smth i would most def do as EDs are terribly manipulative and actively work against you)

    All in makes perfect sense to me but I'm really struggling to allow myself to do it because I am very overweight (my current diagnosis is binge eating disorder caused by a decade of eating disorders consisting of ANA, OSFED and BED at different times so my food relationship, metoblism and hunger cues are completely destroyed). But because I'm struggling with binge eating/restricting at the same time and I'm very overweight, I feel like I can't let myself go all in and satisfy my extreme hunger :( I'm trying to eat what I crave but I still always stop myself at a point and I'm worried I'll never recover like this. Has anyone experienced similar? Or have any advice?

    • @Bischa1
      @Bischa1 2 года назад +3

      Hi @Cloe Easty
      I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with Ed's!!
      First off though; Are you *truly* overweight? Or are you just perceiving yourself as overweight? Also are you honestly diagnosed with BED, it sounds a bit weird, cause as you mention You are coming from ANA OSFED (which type?) (IMO that would make it obvious that your now tendency to binge, is because of the restriction you've done in the past, your body wants 'forces' you to eat to make up for everything the restrictive ED made yourself miss out on, but I'm also thinking it's not strictly BED, because if you compensate in anyway (like you mention you restrict... or are using Other compensating behaviors like Fasting, working out /exercising to try and burn the cals eaten , Laxative use etc..
      Then you are technically in the bulimia category...even if you don't make your self sick/'true purging'.
      But maybe this video by Kayla Rose ruclips.net/video/1GBpvi66x9A/видео.html could also help Make you decide if all in is for you, she has a lot of other great ones on the subject you could see after that one too 😉 maybe also check out Jessie reiman ruclips.net/user/JessieRiemann her on RUclips she also has a good amount of great videos on the 'all in' type of eating disorder recovery that may help you to decide what is right for you ❤️
      If you don't mind pls keep me updated on how you get on/what you decide to do?
      Best of luck with your recovery ❤️

      @@Bischa1 thank you for your message. I am diagnosed BED, and I am actually overweight/obese, but i also struggle with body dysmorphia. Neither of which you did. I struggle with something very similar and it‘s hard to open up to anyone, because most people wouldn‘t understand.
