She asks the speedrunner to pause the game completely and interrupt his run, which is the point of the stream, so she can vent to a room full of people she doesnt know and has just met about her dead grandma while making them all incredibly uncomfortable, and his game was interrupting her so the entire room couldnt hear what she was saying. She wanted the spotlight completely on her to soak up all the sympathy attention. Losing a loved one is horrible but there are ways to go about venting without derailing the event and ruining everyone's mood

Oh yeah, he got super banned. All he did was make a mockery of the event, including not even finishing the game. He got to the final fight with Cortex and just left. He was clearly trying to be some shit lord and got exactly what he wanted. To my memory he is the only person to be permanently banned from GDQ.

He didn't intentionally just not finish the run, there's a crash that can happen if you spam inputs before entering Cortex, he was likely just spamming because he was nervous. Ironically the speedrun was actually really good, but people will never mention that thanks to the non existent explanation and cringe commentary.
