  • If summiting Mt. Everest is on your bucket list, the Promaster Altichron is the watch for you. And even if it’s something you aspire to, this new expedition-ready timepiece with a built-in altimeter measuring 10,000 meters of elevation, is well within reach to help make it happen, or at least live out your dream.
On this episode of The Watch Out, Bradley Hasemeyer gets his hands on the newest addition to the Promaster Land collection. This stacked watch offers strength in the form of the 47mm Super Titanium case, efficiency thanks to the light-powered Eco-Drive tech, and style with the deep blue dial and nylon strap. It’s as powerful as it is pleasing to the eye.
What do you think about the new Promaster Altichron? Where would you be overlanding with a watch like this? We’d love to know in the comments below! #CitizenPromaster #SuperTitanium #EcoDrive

Would be perfect if smaller. 47 mm? Come on Citizen! Garmin has just released a GPS navigation watch of just 42 mm, you can make it smaller too!

So intuitive this watch is. Wouldn't mind using this one as my daily driver.

The problem with Citizen watches is they are just too perfect. A little hickup here, misaligned bezel there would go a long way to improve their image

What bugs me is the fact that fewer and fewer of these watches are entirely made in Japan nowadays. They only say "Japan movt" but if you read the fine print (and sometimes it's not that fine even) it says "cased in Thailand or China".

The biggest problem with all too many modern watches is the diameter and thickness. Don't tell me in the year 2024 we can't have watches smaller than that with same specs. This giganticism stupidity needs to stop.

47mm it's just the circumference length, right?!
