Floor here breathing new life in to a Nightwish classic that pre-dates her time with the band. The Buenos Aires concert is quickly becoming one of my absolute favourites as a relatively new recruit of 11 months to the Nightwish Army (England UK) Division. Compare it also with Tarja, the more darker classical and operatic voice I would recommend for this song. Different in performances but both are great. Perhaps for the next video's showing in the same video more Nightwish performances for the same song whether Tarja, Anette and/ or Floor are involved for your comments. Also the instrumental approach is remarkable to watch, the evolution change of Nightwish in their 26 years existence.

You guys should really check out this whole Buenos Aires concert, was great. Lots of Emppu during this concert. Tuomas' lyrics are almost always poetic and complicated, but beautiful. Welcome back Animal.
This is from their Oceanborn album in 1998. Awesome song, love the lead in instrumentals. This yet another poetic song that can be interpreted multiple ways. Best I can get is it is a hunt for something...maybe wisdom, maybe purity, maybe honor??? Do love the following lines: "Wrapped in furs beneath the northern lights, From my cave I watch the land untamed." That friends, is my current life. For me any time works for a livestream, but I know for most that is not true. A few hours notice is nice though so everyone can try and slide schedules around. You should check out Ne Obliviscaris - And Plague Flowers The Kaleidoscope. I suggest the Colorado Live performance. It's an experience for sure. Also, I highly recomment a Nightwish cover: Over the Hills and Far Away. It's WONDERFUL in Nightwish's Version. With Tarja. I'm a First Age Nightwish fan - it feels right with Tarja for me. Floor is Third Age, still mystical and magical, but Sacrament of Wilderness I have heard almost exclusively from Tarja and that's stuck. Frankly, only Romanticide and Ghost Love Score (of the First Age Songs) I'm used to from Floor.

I have a great Nightwish song for you: Edema Ruh. The lyrics refers to one of Tuomas' favourite fantasy books called Name of the Wind (Kingkiller Chronicles). Edema Ruh are wandering musicians and entertainers in the book so it fits perfect for Nightwish. There's no good live for the song so search from RUclips a very nice 'Comunidade Nightwish' fan-made video called: "Edema Ruh (Special video)". 😎😎
This song is the reason why i'm a Nightwish fan. I knew a couple of songs from their first album, but this one sealed the deal for me, in late '98 or early 99. You have reacted to Sacrament of Wilderness and Gethsemane from Oceanborn and I highly recommend to check Stargazers. For me, those three songs are like a trilogy within the Oceanborn album. Her operatic style adds an entirely different dimension completely to them. Might even think, is this even the same song? Yes, some Tarja era songs Floor sings, sound better, but as with this song and many others, the originals with Tarja and her vocal style are so above what Floor does with them.
