Xenoverse 2 Released A New DRAGON BALL SUPER World Tournament Event that you can only use characters from the DBS Anime in and thanks to that, there is no custom characters or custom partners making the amount of cheese and tryhard builds less and making for an even easier tournament!
This is a tournament to determine the strongest "user" in Xenoverse 2, and the top performer in the tournament will be awarded a TP medal.

Steed is actually Jiren in Xenoverse, everyone else going for cheap and underhanded tactics but he just been plowing through through sheer power and skill taking no Ls whatsoever because he never relied on bullshit and went through the full struggle

Bro, the fights are _so much_ more enjoyable without Limit Bursts being popped to escape bad decisions every match.
Limit burst was the worst idea Xenoverse had no one asked for that bail out button
Honestly limit bursts aren’t that bad. Like yea, I can see why it’s frustrating, but they do make matches longer and a bit more entertaining in my opinion. Instead of the opponent dying after literally 1 stamina break, we could actually have a longer match that feels less like a beatdown.
@@genericusername3334 health buff would have solved those issues easily though there’s like 5-7 extra bars of health that are literally unreachable which makes no sense not saying we need em all but if the health standard was raised even by one extra bar it would be game changing

@@MayHugger I can see why, but the main thing most people complain about is it being a “get out of jail free card”, and not any of its buffs… except super armor. I hear a LOT about super armor.

I wish this game had a specific "No Limti Burst" option. Fighting with nerfed stats, no QQ bangs, and no super soul feels pretty lame to me as it defeats the purpose of having those equipped

I thought that Gohan had it until he used his evasive in basically complete safety😂
He didn’t use it for no reason, they used their evasive to block super jiren ki blast move which deals a lot of damage 15:34. (Edit) < after watching the full fight towards the end of it they use their evasive 3 more times, all 3 was to block super jirens hits. That last one was pointless thou, all that gohan needed was just on ki blast or one hit.
It blows my mind how good people are at this game. I’ll never understand the deeper mechanics and movements of the game like I encounter from people in battle.

In xenoverse I found out how to do some sick combo extensions using beast and the vegito’s ki blade super. If you do the beast special combo, right before you do the final attack you can use vegito’s saber to chain into the heavy auto combo and chain it into an ultimate, it would cost you a total of four bars (assuming you’re using a regular ultimate) and if you use ultimates like final flash it can even give you two health bars, even in with limitations it’s super powerful

I always wanted to play online but couldn't cause of the plus and if I bought it on pc it's gonna take a long time to get along with combat against other players it's hard man, players always turn around like a fucken snake to avoid attacks and need to keep an eye for stamina break

Not sure you'll see this, Steed, but while you get more travel on the Z-Step(The one where you teleport while dashing.), It actually gives you fewer I-Frames and gives your opponent better tracking.
Try Boost stepping in response to some backhits rather than Z-Stepping. They ignore some of Ki Spam and don't have the recovery frames that Z-Step has if you don't Z-Step repeatedly.
You can even get out of combos in-between attacks where Stamina breaks could normally be done.
For example, On Goku's light combo, the 5th hit is dodgeable with that.
You've got a bit of a habit of using Z-Step and getting punished on the recovery.
How do you boost step?

You Tap the button you hold to dash. while moving. It's the same as Z-Stepping minus hitting the teleport button.
If you use Control Type A, you just move while tapping X or A on the controller. While close to an enemy, you can move to the side and do it and you'll step ~1/2 way around them, rather than the full that you get with Z-Step. Basically, do what you do to Z-Step minus hitting the teleport button. It's slower, but gets better I-Frames.
I use Type C, so It's a bit more difficult to explain.

Good example of when it's more useful than Z-Step is when someone burstdashes at you. If you boost step at the right time, you can actually use the I-Frames to ignore the hit and punish right then and there. If they're low enough and you dodge Juuuuuuust right, you can even land a light stamina break, depending on the person you're fighting and the connection.
It's slower to recover from itself, so chaining them sucks... but chaining it into something else is faster than z-step, depending on the timing.
Basically, you can activate the step sooner than you would Z-Step which allows you to hit the recovery sooner and get your attacks off sooner.
Useful for those who spam things like Feint crash. Those extra I-Frames essentially mean that all you have to do is time things right and it's no different than playing a Rhythm game. Tends to piss them off too, which is a MAJOR plus.
Watching them try to spam it for 5 minutes straight before finally doing something else when they hit me maybe 2-3% of the time is amazing.

I remember my friend and I were in a lobby on our own fighting non stop . Then we started talking about @steedoj , and I swear all of a sudden he appeared and fought both of us for a while. Really close fights at the time , made me get a lot better, I want that rematch tho

I honestly never use limit burst for two reasons one it leaves you open for attacks and also I forget about it when fighting because I focus on the battle at hand in the words of Isshin the glock Saint Hesitation is defeat
I just started playing even tho I’m a big Dbz fan but I’m only a lvl 33 I’m no where near this hood I still be doing quests because I still barely understand how to get anything really
These tournaments are usually great except this one they need to ban hit and extend the title reward to top 10 instead of 5. Top 5 takes to much time but im going for it just this once. Edit: came 4th on ps4 that version has cheaters too.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get better at this game? I tried ranked to face people that may be similarly skilled than me, but it won’t find any rooms with people with the same rank. It will only let me fight higher ranked people, and it’s impossible for me.
