Hey Nick There is this trick that you might not know. In one of your video, you talked about the keyless option, where you can just tap on the rectangular little thingy on the door handle to close the doors. Here’s my little trick, you don’t actually need to touch the rectangular thing, it works on the whole handle! That’s actually pretty neat, so when you park and go out of the park, I just fist bump the handle and voilà. It’s a lot easier than looking for the rectangular thingy and tap it with your finger.
Hey Nick , Just suggestion for some topics : 1. Enable wireless apple car play in NTG 6 and prior by using some external device 2. Tip on maintenance topics (this could be detail series ) ? 3. Information about Service A and Service B (mandatory changes )
Hey Pankaj, yes absolutely working on number one at the moment 🤓 Number two is a good idea For servicing it’s different for every model so is quite tricky! You can check individual servicing etc on www.mymercedesservice.co.uk
Sadly my E Class doesn’t read the speed limit signs, and neither do I so I save time by going slightly faster 🤪 Really though, love your videos man, I’ve learned so much from them! Thank you for all the time you spend making them.
Hi Nick, your videos are very good 👍 i was wondering if you can advise on the MB infotainment system. I find the icons are very small, does MB have a feature to make the icons bigger as they are very small/tiny to read especially on the right hand side of the screen.’

Wireless carplay on Command plss, a lot of us have the W205FL especially how it was one of mercedes most sold cars would be great to get a vid on that👍🏽👍🏽
Hello. Have in one of ur videos covered the situation where I by mistake shift direction from drive to reverse with the “gear shift stalk”. It could happen as it in the place of the windscreen wipers stalk on other cars
On what if you pop the gear stick up into neutral while driving? I haven’t but the car won’t let you put it into reverse while driving. It’ll only go into Neutral. Just pop it back in drive and you’re good to go 😎
Really sorry you’ll have to check the spec I wouldn’t know Depends what you’ve ordered or is on the car already, so if you’re not sure you’ll have to ask Mercedes and they can check for you.
I’ve not seen the latest CLA as I didn’t think it was out yet Direct Entry is just for models that have the latest generation multimedia system called MBUX NTG 7. It’s for Mercedes models that don’t have a touchpad in the middle of the car.
hey got a late 2023 sadly with the NTG6 system. do you know if there is any plan to bring some of the new updates to the old system ? Or even ntg6 -> ntg 7 update path ?
No sadly not it’s quite a rare one but I’ll add it to the list of potential future videos 🤓 They’re quite easy, you simply do the shape of a V with two fingers in front of the screen and can assign favourites to the driver and passenger.
Thanks for the suggestion! Really sorry I only started my RUclips channel in 2020 so it’s tricky to cover anything prior to that, I’ve not seen anything at my local Mercedes.

You’ll have to ask the insurance company that’s up to them. In most cases they’ll say no, but worth an ask. They’ll need this info, it’s not a Category S5 or anything like that. It is a GPS tracker and can be switched on / off by the driver if they know where to look. Better to be transparent, yes you could get cheaper insurance in some cases but if they found out something that wasn’t declared they could void the insurance. No one wants that.
Very helpful and nicely put together as always, Nick! Is there a way to use automatic traffic sign recognition for the speed limit, not only for the cruise control? Thanks in advance for the response
Thank you! No sadly it’s only for the cruise control on cars with the Driving Assistance Package. But you on modern Mercedes press RES twice which will copy the speed sign to your Limiter 🤓
MBUX NTG 6 will always get map updates or security and bug fixes from what I’ve heard. Of course you’ll need a valid subscription from the Mercedes me store for map updates called the Navigation Package for that 🤓
clearly - I already have that! I meant whether updates will ever be released that introduce new features and new options or whether they will remain prerogative of the new restylings

Hi Nick, As a keen viewer of your videos, perhaps you can help? I have a 2019 plate C200, and have Mercedes me on my Samsung smartphone. The app now informs me that the driver's window is open. A physical check shows that all windows are closed. Shortly before this happened I pressed the lock and unlock command on my key (Can't remember why) so I don't know if this caused an error. Any comments please? Cheers Sel Roberts
It shouldn’t have done, have you tried putting all the windows down and back up? If that doesn’t work I’d advise chatting with Mercedes me support, they might be able to run diagnostics remotely 🤓
