I have zero welding skills, but enjoy watching others create useful items from scratch...
Yesterday, I was driving killing time and I turned down a street in Menchaca and I saw a metal Chud sign hanging up on the outside of the building. Made me do a double take. I thought I stumbled on to of my fav food RUclipsrs. Now Today I see this vid and realize it’s this shop. Life is just a bunch of coincidences.
You're a braver man than I, welding in shorts.

Being a fabricator always comes in handy for making dreams into reality.
What a great project to get off the to do list.
Love the fireball tools angle! They make some awesome stuff. As a welder and machinist by trade, I love getting to see the construction side of things. I built an insulated cabinet smoker last year. It doesn't care if it's -40 outside, it'll rock solid and still use very little charcoal.
You could definitely make a second channel with all this welding and building content.

Have you considered welding in nuts on the bottom to thread bolts into so the casters could be easily replaced should would fail? Just something I picked up working in a furniture shop a while back and thought about it while watching this videos. If I had the coin to buy one of your smokers/tables I would in a heartbeat!

Awesome build. Would you list out the gas adapters and connectors for he LP conversion to the burner? I have a dual burner and having trouble finding the things I need to hook propane up. TIA!

Maybe I’m underestimating the strength of a 1.5” square tube welded frame, but it seems like it would flex in the middle, especially where it drops for the burners. I would have extended the vertical drop pieces down to the bottom, and perhaps added a couple more casters in the middle of the table.

My late father was a metal worker. I had no interest in it when I was young. When I got older I wished that I had paid attention to his methods. Welding is a very handy skill to have. I know the basics, but I am not very good at it.
