You're welcome. I have mostly done comments in German this past year so I thought it was about time again to address my international audience. Will continue to do so until the complaints of the German audience become too vocal.
Regarding your power bank issue: It is most likely that your power bank has a threshold for amperage. Once the battery on your camera is full, the battery management on your camera will cut the draw of power significantly. It might only be 5v @ .1A. Power banks have to be rated for that kind of power draw, as most will shut off. In this case, you would physically need to unplug the bank and plug it back in to trigger charging again. To avoid this you must find a power bank that will supply power at low amps as well as higher. I understand the frustration though!

How long do you have your powerbank? If it does not charge or charge other devices anymore, that may be a sign that it is worn out and you must replace it. This can happen within 2 years. Especially when it is often subject to higher and lower temperatures.
I've had it for a number of years. It still works fine when it is used to charge. The power demand of the Virb360 in standby, however, seems to be too small to trigger the bank to keep the juice running.
@@arsenalchamp I had 3 velomobiles at the time, QV, a Quest and a DF. I knew that I wouldn’t have storage for more than one in the near future, so I sold the QV and the Quest as I was riding the DF most of the time. QV is a great machine.

I don't really understand the nature of the problem I'm experiencing with the Garmin Virb360. It used to work fine with the external power connection. Then, for some reason, the problems began when my power bank would shut off in standby mode of the camera (probably not enough energy used). I have tried to run there camera without a battery, which has worked at times, not at other times. On this ride I hooked up the external power supply and I had a battery in the camera fully charged. Everything worked fine for about 60 km, but then the external power must have shut itself off, and the battery was drained without the external supply coming back on. One solution could be a different power bank which will always remain on when something is connected (even if that something takes no or only minimal energy).

Did you get rid of your Quattrovelo?
Getting rid would be the wrong expression; I sold it 3 years ago
@@rhein228 Any specific reason? I'm considering it as my first velomobile.
